Right now (January 2021), I have seen two boxes of 50 test strips (sold together) for approximately $37 and boxes of 100 for about $38. In exchange for $48 I got with the set not only 100 test strips but 100 lancets, a new meter, and a new Lancet so I can have one with me at home too. However, you can now buy just the test strips. In their opinion, they still have another year of use left in them. The usable life for these items is supposed to be two years, so it is possible they are old stock. There is an Amazon listing for it right now
That was the case in the past. Remind me of what I said that I wanted to rephrase It would have been nice to place my order a few weeks ago, but it was not possible. There is a new kit from Walmart that I am seriously considering. It is Freestyle and the strips are cheaper, plus you don't have to wait for the mail to arrive.

When I bought a new style meter, I thought perhaps it was better than the one I had been using. Everything works as it should.
There were no items in it. It was indicated that these strips should only be used by Medicare/Medicaid and was covered by a label that showed an expiration date that was different from the date on the bottom of the.
There are several reasons to be worried, There was no protection at all in this kit. It came in a plastic bag, not even bubble wrap, with the monitor attached to the top as a result, the left corner of the meter screen was damaged, so the readings could be inaccurate. There are two different expiration dates on the stripes box. One is written on the side, and one is written on the bottom. Lancet takes a lot of strength to hold, and it takes effort to poke the finger.
