I test a few times a Though I had already decided to purchase their new device, the company's decision to individually wrap each strip is a disaster. While every aspect of their product is great (great company, accurate readings, phone app), this feature is even worse. Testing strips in little plastic bins have never caused me any problems while I have been testing frequently. It is a hassle for me to have to stop, rip out the strips from their plastic envelopes (to simplify, I tried using scissors but it turned out I ruined one strip trying to do that as well) that I am likely to switch In addition, packaging more than less is not the cheapest option for the environment - Having a head. They will give you a free monitor on top of that! It costs money to replace the strips and install the new power supply On their website, I was given the option to choose H. I did not want it. You can still use the old meter if you did not purchase the new one as well. If you don't have a plan, then you are screwed. It was already planned for me to buy the new model last year, so it made sense to buy the new one. What is to say this company won't do it again in a year? What you are saying makes sense- New products will come down the line, but consumers should know if the product they bought is going to be outdated in less than a year. Aside from that, I am concerned about how hard it would be for someone with weak or arthritic hands to open the new strip packaging. It is not a problem for me, but for a member of my family. It wasn't even as easy as popping open a bottle to open the wrapping.
I would appreciate if you offered alternative packaging options.
