There is no need for a subscription plan. I only test my blood sugar a few times a week because my A1C is mostly under control thanks to medication, and while I still need to keep an eye on it, I don't have to test as frequently as insulin users. Dario tries to sell me subscriptions, but I don't need them, so this is perfect for me.
You have the option of repeating the process. Use an alcohol swab to clean your needle. Swabs should be used in any case. This is grossly overpriced, and they are well aware of it. Unfortunately, I found out about this after purchasing the bundle. Simply fold a fresh swab several times, wrap it around the lancet, and pull it up to swab it. I even used different parts of the swab to swab it multiple times. Because I'm analgesic. It's that simple. It doesn't appear to be any different. It doesn't seem to hurt any more. Over and over again, and again, and again. Plus, there's the fact that you're a woman. I'm a control freak who can't stop myself from doing things. tester. Six to eight times is how many tests I do. Probably as much as someone with type 2 diabetes. Because I'm analgesic. Haha! Peace to you all. br>br> I hope this has been of assistance.
Unfortunately, I had to purchase these in order to use them with my free testing machine; the strips are individually packaged in small bundles, which makes storage easy. Other than the box in which they arrived, there was no packaging for the Lancets. I now have dozens of these feral pokers strewn about my drawer. They'll need something other than a big cardboard box to keep them contained.
These go with the Dario meter, which is a fantastic little piece of technology that is incredibly simple to operate. Your iPhone does all of the work for you when it comes to keeping statistics and taking notes! However - The test strips are extremely costly, and many health insurance policies do not cover the expense.
I really wanted to like this whole monitoring system because of its compactness, but it won't be able to patent us at the end of the day, and it wasn't accurate or consistent.
All good.
The company is constantly trying to upsell its products, which makes it very expensive.
