I'm not sure who makes them. However, I recommend that you do not purchase them! First and foremost, the shipping box, as well as the container itself, arrived severely damaged. I didn't have time to switch gears (it was getting close to Christmas), so I decided to sample before handing out. The first word on the wrapper is that almonds are the last to be discovered. Almonds are the next ingredient on the list of diminishing ingredients after "salt. " Only three of the twenty-four biscotti in my box (purchased on Amazon) had a sliced almond 'half' visible on both sides. Butter and sweetness dominate the flavor profile. What happened to the chocolate aroma and smoothness during the baking process? Yes, I believe so. br>Instead of counting almonds, buy a flavor-infused accessory bag of almonds. a chocolate bar with a filling that you can eat to taste and enjoy? Alternatively, take a look around.
The Amazon transaction went smoothly, but I'm not a fan of Nonnis biscotti, which is probably a matter of personal preference. The almonds have been finely chopped to the point of being undetectable. There isn't a lot of flavor here. Individually wrapped is very convenient. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
