The Garibaldi Biscuits I recently received have a July 2017 expiration date, but I received them in September 2016. That's a long shelf life, and you might be referring to the crumbly nature of these biscuits when you say "so stale." The biscuit part is a little thicker and crumblier than the old "Sunshine Raisin Biscuits," which were long ago discontinued. Yes, they are stale in the sense of crumbly. I recommend eating them on a paper plate or in the sink. I'm not sitting on the couch without a plate underneath me.
The 100g package contains two strips of five biscuits each, for a total of ten biscuits in the 100g package. Because of the shipping, the case of 12 100g packages is the best deal. Besides, it's not like it's a big deal.

So I went to Amazon and did a quick search and. . . Ta- They were readily available from a number of vendors. This vendor appealed to me because of its affordability. Because they are shipped from another country, the shipping time is a little longer. Mine took 16 days to arrive from the time I ordered it. However, if you're not in a rush, this is a fantastic deal. I received exactly what was described in the advertisement: Crawfords Raisin Biscuits (12 packages) They were packaged in a full case with 12 packs inside, each individually wrapped and containing 10 pre-cut cards. In each purple package, there are cut biscuits. (These are made with currants, for the record. ) ) They have the same flavor as the ones I ate as a kid. They are delectable; It's not too sweet, and it goes well with a cup of tea. They are as much a part of my family as I am. If you've been looking for them, now is the time to find them. You're not going to be let down.
I'm humiliated and ashamed of myself. br>I got my Garibaldi Biscuits order today. In America, I had something similar for most of my life; they were raisin-flavored and delicious. I ordered a box after thinking I'd found them again. The word raisin appeared in the description. Before I placed my order, I double-checked everything. They were current, not raisin, when my order arrived. I filed a complaint and received a refund. br>While they were still here, I decided to open a package. These are extremely tasty. After all of my whining and receiving my money back, I've come to appreciate them. I'm going to figure out how to ensure that the money goes to the right people right away. br>Seriously, these biscuits are fantastic, and for those of you who prefer raisin-flavored biscuits, these are nearly identical. I'm one of the many Americans of a certain age who bought this in the hopes of getting a taste of Sunshine Biscuit Golden Raisin Biscuits, and I know a few people were disappointed that these were currant instead of raisin, but honestly. You'll get the overall flavor and texture you want. br>br>Has the added benefit of not being an allergen source for a family member who can't eat grapes or raisins but can eat currants, so the currant is a big plus for me, but Unless you have an extremely sensitive palate, currant will taste like a raisin.

I was very dissatisfied with the state of the biscuits! When I opened my box of Garibaldi's, there were fine crumbs all over the place, and the individual packets appeared to be old and weathered. One was stained on the inside of the box by grease, oil, or something similar. One of them had been ripped. I got rid of them. br>On the outside of the box, the best buy date was April 2018, but there was only one packet with that date; the rest were November 2017. The biscuits were dry, crumbly, and stale, despite the fact that the expiration date was still valid. br>When I first met my UPS guy, I told him how much I enjoyed the biscuits and handed him a whole pack, assuring him that he would enjoy them as well. He will, without a doubt, be disappointed.
