This is the type of cookie you're looking for. This is a fantastic discovery. I'm not sure how I went so long without discovering these biscuits. I've been looking for my beloved Sunshine raisin cookies for decades (literally) since I first tried to buy them at the local grocery store in the 1990s and discovered they were no longer available. br>br>These aren't identical to the original Sunshine Raisin biscuits (the main difference is that they have less fruit filling), but they're close enough that my long drought is over. In about 10 minutes, I finished the first package I opened. ) I managed to control my greed long enough to put the other packages away, and I'm looking forward to enjoying them more leisurely over the next few hours, oops, days. br>br>If you're a recovering Sunshine biscuit addict who's been considering trying these, don't hold off any longer. You have arrived at your desired destination.

Almost as good as my old favorites from my childhood
5/5

Sunshine raisin biscuits were my favorite as a kid, and I introduced them to my own daughter and her husband, who became fans as well. The cookies then vanished; it was a sad day. I guess they weren't sweet or pretty enough for today's cookie eaters (I'm 73 and find most commercial cookies to be overly sweet). )After years of searching and even finding a recipe that claimed to be a close replica but required a lot of effort, I came across Crawford's Garibaldis. It's not as crisp or fruity as it could be. Sunshine biscuits are filled, but they're delicious. They arrived quickly and in good condition. packed, undamaged, and new This isn't my first order, and it won't be my last; I wish they weren't so expensive, but they're worth it for a once-in-a-while treat (and a trip down memory lane).

It's edible, but it's past its prime
3/5

These Garibaldi biscuits had to have been sitting in the seller's warehouse for a long time, and I was looking forward to eating them and sharing them with my siblings. Unfortunately, the item was out of date. I should've paid more attention to Amazon's star ratings. Other sellers had more stars, but I chose this seller because he or she had the best price, which I now understand!.

It's like I've been transported back to my childhood! For years, I've been obsessed with these delectable cookies from my childhood, and I've looked everywhere for them
5/5

The Sunbeam version of this cookie, as well as the Devils Food Cookies (made by whom? ) were the most delicious cookies I'd ever tasted! Both of these items are also no longer available in stores. It's such a thrill to discover these (the British version) online! This week, I introduced my son and husband to them for the first time, and they now understand why I've been obsessed with these cookies for so long. My son declared these to be his new favorite! I understand this version is a little less sweet than the Sunbeam version, but I think they're perfect! I'll keep a supply on hand at all times. They're just the right amount of sweet and salty. They're just the right amount of sweet, fattening, and heavy. I strongly advise you to purchase them. Snackwells' version of Devil's Food Cookies comes the closest to the original. They're a little too sweet for my tastes, but they're close enough.

These are actually quite good
5/5

This reminds me of the biscuits I used to eat as a kid. These aren't quite as good as the previous ones, but they're still decent. Many reviews mention "Sunshine Raisin" cookies, which could be the ones I recall. They were firmer and more chewy than the ones with more filling. These are a little lighter and don't have as much filling, but they're still tasty. I was worried that they were too expensive for what you get, but each of the eight packages is quite large. After receiving them, I was not dissatisfied with the price. I'm considering ordering more of these.

Sunshine used to make my favorite raisin biscuit cookie, and it was still as good as it was years ago
5/5

That, however, was dropped. I bought a few of these Garibaldi cookies recently. br>Not everyone loves these as much as I do, but they're the best raisin biscuit cookie since Sunshine's, with lots of raisins, a clean break, and a nice crunch, and they're great with milk (or coffee or tea). br>I do share on occasion.

It reminds me of the Sunshine biscuits that I used to love as a kid
4/5

Sunshine Raisin biscuits were a childhood favorite of mine, and they were still available when I was raising my children in the 1980s and 1990s. They were chewy and had less sugar and sweetness than raisin cookies. Currants are used in these Garibaldi biscuits. They're drier and less chewy than raisin cookies, but I prefer them because they're not as sweet. I purchased the 8-pack on Amazon Prime and found it to be a good value for the money.

I'm overjoyed to see these treats again
4/5

I recall eating these as a kid and then discovering that they were no longer available in supermarkets. So, years later, it occurred to me to check Amazon, and to my delight, they were there! These little biscuits are just the right amount of sweet for me because I don't like things that are overly sweet. With a cup of black coffee or tea, you've got yourself a delicious little snack!.
