Well, I checked the labels and there is no mention of GMO ingredients. There was an email address for the company that could respond to your inquiry. www. unitedbiscuits is a trademark of United Biscuits. com. VERY BEST WISHES TO YOU! (PS: THESE BISCUITS ARE MY FAVORITE!)
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing they're hoping you'll buy the six-pack.
2- I'm not sure. There are three layers, each with four to five biscuits. For the quantity and quality, I thought the price was reasonable. I didn't feel "ripped off" in the least.

Selected User Reviews For Crawford's Garibaldi Biscuits 100g (Pack of 6)
I used to love the Sunshine Raisin Biscuits when I was a kid in the 1950s and 1960s. I've never been able to come across them or anything similar. I did learn that they had been discontinued years ago and discovered Crawford's Giribaldi Biscuits, which are made with currents and have a taste similar to raisins. They're only a smidgeon behind them. When you break up the cookies that are hooked together and must be broken off on the perforated lines, they become smaller in size. The cookies are a little drier than the 'yesterday' Sunshine cookies. But no other cookie compares to the one I used to love as a kid. With a cup of hot tea or coffee, they're still delicious.
I couldn't have waited more than two days if I didn't have Prime. br>The six packages I ordered were taped together on all four sides with packing tape, and removing the tape would be a major pain in the neck in order to avoid tearing each package and jeopardizing its vital freshness. br>Well, while attempting to surgically remove each purple package of currants, 2 packages of mildly sweet pastry delicacy were torn, and I was forced, yes forced, to eat each torn package, gaining probably a thousand and fitty pounds in the process. br>I blame you, AmazonFrown, for every pound gained, and my dear husband will go crazy over my new chicken fried thighs.
I have to agree with the comments that there is too much biscuit and not enough filling. Without a doubt. br>br>As a matter of fact, the package's description - "currant-filled golden crispy biscuits" - If you're a lawyer, you might think this is deceptive. It's not even close to being "full of" currants. Rather, there is the occasional lonely current or small patch of it strewn about the biscuit's vast wilderness. It's just enough to imply the presence of currants - Certainly not the thin but effective fruit layer that I and others fondly remember from back in the day. br>br>To get enough data for this review, I had to eat an entire packet. As a consolation, I'm going to need another.
I purchased these to relive my 1940s childhood. Maybe the 1950s as well. These were a real treat to eat when I was a kid growing up in a Chicago suburb: In a sweet flatbread cookie dough, there are raisins. They were nothing more than a slab of concrete. These are the most similar, but the texture of the biscuit is different. I'll buy more because they're delicious, but they're not quite the same, if you know what I'm talking about and are looking for something similar. Maybe I'm just recalling them in a different way. After all, it had been 70 years since those happy childhood memories.
They used to be made here, but when Keebler purchased the company, they decided to stop making them, which is a shame. They are fresh and don't last long in my house, so I have to order them on a regular basis. Great with coffee or tea, and just the right amount of sweetness. All I ask is that they add a little more current to them. I would strongly suggest it.
Garibaldi currant biscuits are a healthy snack that aren't too sweet. They're delicious with a slice of sharp cheddar cheese and a few slices of apple, plus juice, for a quick lunch. the- When you're short on time, run. My only complaint is that they don't always arrive in their usual dark, golden color, - the outcome of possibly being baked with an egg white coating - They appear appetizing on the outside, but they arrive pale and anemic on the inside. They keep fresh after being opened and can be stored for weeks without refrigeration if kept in an airtight container. plastic box with a tight seal.
These biscuits are absolutely delicious. I used to eat them and then promptly forgot about them because they are no longer available in any of the stores where I shop. I'll be ordering more in the near future. They're a flat biscuit with baked-in currents. It's not too sweet, but it's sweet enough. It's a great snack to pair with your favorite beverage.
That's all I really wanted: nostalgia resurrected through my senses. They had a harder bite than I recall from happier times, as other commenters noted. They get a solid three from me. Taste and texture get a five out of four. In some places, they still have a soft chew, and the raisins aren't as plentiful as I remember. Thank you for that little bit of pleasure and fond memory I get with each bite during this colossal hell hold of a time; they satiated my immense craving during this colossal hell hold of a time.
