It has been confirmed that they are made in Colorado, USA, by a quick Google search.
The bars I received did not have mold on them. A mini bar had passed its expiration date, so it was past its Due to the fact that I have not reordered this product from Amazon, I do not know if the issue has been resolved.
While the bars are tasty, as far as I am concerned, they are way too sweet and high in sugar. Good for a treat, but don't recommend them for breakfast in the morning or hiking, as they aren't that high in protein.

The subscription and save function on Amazon has been my go-to method for purchasing these boxes for awhile. We got a moldy first box, which made us a little disappointed at first, but I knew it had to be a rare I just received the follow up box following the first moldy package, and it has even more moldy bars. It seems like everything is fine until you open up a bar or two and they're covered in mold.
The disappointment is so great! tried one of these, which a friend gave me, and I was interested in trying a variety pack so I could try them all. I just received this package yesterday, and I just opened one of the coconut cream pie ones and ate it. After that, I opened the chocolate chip cookie dough one, and I immediately knew something wasn't A vast amount of mold covers the entire bar and it smells strongly of alcohol! There is still plenty of time before the expiration date of May 2018, so they should Having these on my list was disappointing because I was really looking forward to enjoying them. I will throw away the remainder!.
There is a lot of variety in this pack, I thought. Just reading the reviews, my surprise at all of the negative feedback surprised me. The packaging and the bars did not cause any problems for me. In addition, the taste personally appeals to me. The fact that there are only a few basic ingredients in each bar (which I like from a health perspective) may explain why some prefer different products.
