For years, I've been purchasing Larabars in the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor. In February of this year, I began receiving boxes with apples included in the ingredients. The apple flavor is very strong, and it overpowers the bar's cookie dough flavor. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. I enjoy Larabars, but I'm switching to a different flavor. I just hope I can find another one that I enjoy as much as this one.
Apples have now been added to the list of ingredients. Both of my children thought the flavor was strange. br>br>Ingredients: Apples, cashews, dates, semisweet chocolate chips (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla extract), sea salt, and vanilla extract.
I figured I'd give it a shot because they're both poplar. I ordered the cookie dough flavor, but they don't taste anything like it. There was a strange filling in the interior at one point, which I discovered after reading reviews was apples. This is supposed to be a cookie dough bar, but it tastes nothing like one, especially with the apples. Sorry, but I'm not going to buy anything else.
I have no other brand loyalty, but Larabar has my undying loyalty in the crowded "bar" space. They simply do things correctly! At a great price point, simple, whole ingredients that taste great and have the perfect texture. br>br>In addition, my favorite Larabars are chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter chocolate chip. They have a feeling of being pampered - and, to a certain extent: There are 210 calories and 15 grams of sugar in each of these. This isn't exactly a health food, in my opinion. But my goodness, they're delicious! And because they're made with whole ingredients (like cashews and dates), they're a healthier option than a cookie or other dessert.
These are probably my favorite Larabar flavor that I've tried thus far. I appreciate how healthy they are, how they keep me full, and how simple they are to make. If you're trying to eat more whole foods but still need some convenience, this is the recipe for you. the- These are excellent snacks to take with you. I've taken them on road trips and shared them with my mother, father, and husband, and they've all raved about how easy they are to make and how few ingredients they contain.
My children eat lunch at school. For the past 5 years, they've been bringing one of these almost every day. Outstanding worth Buying these on Amazon is more convenient. Lara Bars are a good substitute for granola bars aka candy bars, and they are gluten free with no added sugar. I've never had any issues with packaging, freshness, melting, or anything else. My oldest son dislikes blueberry muffins, but all of my other children enjoy them, particularly the peanut butter cookie and apple pie flavors. cookie dough with chocolate chips The carrot cake is one of my favorites. bar of lemon They are great at surviving in the bottom of my purse, my middle school son's lunchbox, and the pool cooler. In our pantry, this is a must-have.
They aren't in the least bit deplorable. It's possible that I don't care for the texture or flavor profile that dates provide. I've tried a few flavors so far, and none of them entice me to order more. They're not terrible, as I previously stated; I simply dislike them. They were crisp and probably exactly as they should have been, but I'm not a fan. They melt easily, and as a snack, I'd rather have a regular granola bar or a piece of fruit.
It's a delectable flavor, full of tiny chips that melt in your mouth. You'll enjoy it even more knowing that you're not indulging in sugary treats. This tastes just like candy, but without the added ingredients that are harmful to one's health.
