Having said that, I want to make it clear that I adore While my Amazon purchase of Larabar Apple Pie bars was distasteful, I did not find it at all. Although the Larabar bars in the UNDATED package are within their use by date, the grittiness and grainy flavor make them inedible, and I am afraid that I might get food poisoning from them even if they are within their use by date. Since Larabar introduced Apple Pie bars, I have grown to love them. However, there is something very wrong about this particular package. user of this product, I never dared to think that amazon might sell a lower quality version compared to the ones I get in my local grocery store. Would this be an Amazon storage issue or a seller with a questionable track record? do not know, but I plan to find out and to take the necessary steps to protect the public!.
Since my wife got ahold of the Whole 30 diet book, our lives have changed more than we ever imagined. What I mean applies to those of you who own the book. The changes we made to our meals and snacks allowed us to eat much healthier and more nutritiously, while I personally had relief from the constant inflammation in my body without taking prescription medications. As one of the "Whole Thirty" snacks, they (and a few other flavors) qualify as Apple Pie Larabars. One is often eaten for breakfast and another is taken to work with her each day for lunch. Then she adds a dozen almonds and a bottle of water, and she is ready to go It takes a little time to get used to these Apple Pie bars, just like most healthier snacks and foods, but once you're on board you won't want to get off. Take a look at the other ones that qualify under this diet plan and give them a try. There are two others, according to my knowledge, which are cherry pie and cashew cookie.
I heard the founder of Larabars on "How I Built This", which happens to be the show I was listening to. There are so many snack/fruit/energy bars out there that I never evaluated one because I did not know which one to purchase and did not want to take the time to review nutrition information. But when I heard this podcast, I was curious the bars have just three calories and 10 grams of protein. The maximum number of ingredients for each flavor is seven (depending on the type) There are no additives in this product. I decided to purchase the original flavors, cherry pie was my first one, really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't too sweet and not too tangy, but then I tried apple pie and the rest is Having these as a staple has become a fixture of my diet. One is usually what I eat just before a workout or as a snack in the morning. That no one ingredient overpowers the other is what I appreciate most about this dish. Additionally, the consistency of the bar is just right it's not sticky (unlike other fruit bars that stick to your teeth), it's not too hard, and it doesn't leave a mess everywhere (i'm looking at you nature valley).
I expected a taste similar to apple pie or something similar, but instead, there is very little flavor. I didn't dislike the taste of it I just found it quite bland to the point where I tasted more almond and walnuts than For me, it was a bit surprising since I was used to the lemon Larabars with their strong lemon flavor. Although, Larabars are a good quick snack for the office or for working out, so I only dock a few stars for the lack of flavor on this.
In my opinion, I would absolutely buy this again for the price. I got a good package. My favorite place to buy them is at the grocery store whenever they're on sale, but they only have them in 5 packs, so I prefer to buy them in 10 packs so I won't.
However, there are large chunks of nuts present in it, so be careful. The pack I received from the company stands out for its value for money and I have always ordered it regularly without a problem.
There are no better protein bars than this one. When I travel, I like to bring protein snack bars with me. In most cases, however, the bars are made to look like candy bars, which I hate to eat. You get the protein effect without the candy effect and come away from these bars feeling fuller for longer. There is a great taste to them. My favorite is lemon. I definitely recommend it.
A small strip of plastic was found inside the apple pie-flavored bars. There may have been a manufacturing issue behind the expensive bars, which would explain why the batch was flawed. It will not be my brand of choice in the future. There was no reason to sell the product to anybody.
