I'm glad you like it! Even though my husband was skeptic, he admits that this machine does an excellent job of removing as much water as possible When I tried to use my Japanese mother's method I had a lot of trouble The can is on top of a sandwich between two cutting boards, one end elevated

When the can is compressed, the tofu falls off, leaving a huge mess in its wake. There have been multiple occurrences of this. It's really pretty easy to maintain this device with this great invention as long as I remember to tighten the screws periodically. As a consequence, you end up with dense tofu that soaks up the marinade or sauce you I highly recommend this book!.

Tofu press of the highest quality

The following are the reasons why I gave this five High density plastic, similar to what cutting boards are made of, it's easy to clean, no metal parts (or so they say, time will tell), there are springs above and below the top board, and finally it squeezes out the water from the tofu nicely. In an effort to stand out, the company released a four screw model, but be honest, I don't think that was necessary. The price for all of that was around $20, in my opinion.

I found the tofu presser to work surprisingly well

Tofu Tamer Press is a great product that I highly recommend. By doing this, I did not have to balance heavy pans, etc. on top of the tofu to remove the excess water. On top of a flat serving tray with raised edges and a hand towel to catch the water, I served it. The extension will continue to be used by me and is recommended.

I don't think it's worth the effort

tried pressing my tofu, it automatically broke into pieces instead of being drained in the rectangle shape, and that ruined the whole purpose of the press. I could have broken it up myself, instead of having to use a press.
