Curdled soy milk, which itself is the product of cooking soybeans, is used to make tofu. It is therefore made from soybeans that have been cooked. When eating raw foods, you wouldn't necessarily consider tofu raw. If that is your question, then I don't know if you could classify it as such.

This is not the first time I've gotten this tofu, so probably just this package has an issue. In contrast to usual, the tofu wasn't packed in a solid brick. Despite its brittleness and crumbliness, this pasta was delicious. As soon as it was cooked, the tofu disintegrated. I recently received a package that was missing several items. This is one of the problems. If anything, I am wondering if they are using a different distributor.
As a matter of fact, I'm a bit of a Tofu freak. My favorite way to eat it is cubed, raw, with a sprinkle of black pepper and lime or lemon juice. The taste of well-made tofu is one of my favorites. It's impossible to compare to fresh, of course, but for the price, this one is terrific. It was not up to Azumaya's standard in the last batch of extra firm I felt the film was a bit grittier than it should have been. It is always a pleasure to eat Nasoya, but sometimes the price tag is steep. I would prefer this over Azumaya and Nasoya, since it is cheaper and tastes better! I am very happy with my purchase. This page is comprised of the following images *Texture The taste of the product is excellent - 5/5 A perfect 5.
The shoppers select expiration dates with very little consistency and reliability. "Firm" tofu you see on the top of the photo is what I bought in store at Whole Foods more than a week ago. As of today, I have received a delivery that has one tofu expiring on October 31st and the other I'm not sure what to make of this!.
My assumption is that the package I got was an exception to the tofu's usual state since the reviews are particularly positive. In the past several years, I have consumed tofu from several different brands It's the first time I've seen anything like it. There were a lot of tofu crumbs in it I couldn't cut it up. The fact that it happened on an occasional shipment makes me believe it can happen on a regular basis. I have seen other reviews that are not positive. The texture of tofu does not hold together, nor does it have a smooth texture. There was a mild flavor, and I liked it. As far as those terms go, it has not been spoiled.
I would say that it is in that "good enough" section. Because I am busy with work, I cannot go to the store that sells what I really want, but this ingredient is fine. Even though it crumbles very easily, and doesn't pick up flavor very well, this makes an ideal mid-week meal for those who really aren't too concerned with flavor. As far as what I don't like about the tofu is that it always has so much water in it that I cannot get away without pressing it very long and even while pressing it, I find that it is still Lol It also shrinks quite a bit.
The tofu stays firm, doesn't melt or dissolve into a mush like some brands I've used. I'm not a food religious person. I eat what I like. I like tofu. 11-year-old) loves the extra firm 365 tofu in all the meals I prepare for him. It is one item I can make to serve to the gluten free and egg free individuals in my life.
The tofu I have had here is not the best I have ever tasted, but it is The spongy texture of this tofu allows it to absorb flavors well, so it is best added to soups. It was too oily in the stir fry, so the tofu didn't come out as crispy as I hoped. The tofu is overall good for soups and will be repurchased.
Is well suited to freezing. My husband and I have frequently eaten tofu for 30+ years while we strive to reduce our intake of I like the firm texture of this tofu, which makes it easy to work with (as slices, It can be easily incorporated into most dishes thanks to its mild taste. Just recently discovered how to freeze pasta, which has been much easier since I am the only person in my household who eats pasta. The system freezes & grinds Freezes perfectly and thaws quickly. an interesting texture and is relatively easy to read There's no way to go wrong with taste and price.
