It is well made, easy to use and also very easy to clean. Don't know where it was made, but it is well made, one that will be long lasting. A great deal of water is removed from tofu when it is cooked in this method. There has not been any attempt to make it with other cheese consistency levels.

If you'd like to drain your tofu in the sink, you can place the pan over a plate. Tofu is usually a bit more chewy when drained and froze, so you end up with a "meatier" texture.
I did not know that there was such a thing as a best one. Neither the plastic nor the wooden ones had any adjustment to ensure they would remove water evenly. I can also do more than one piece every 15 minutes or so due to its ease of cleaning and ability to drain water quickly. So that the shape does not crumble, I adjust the knobs slowly. Although it can be a tad annoying having to twist all four, it really is the best way to drain all the water! With the help of this guy, we've made the best fried tofu!.
Yet, the tiny thread is so difficult to screw and unscrew that it can take FOREVER.

There are several times I've used this press and it's been a real blessing. Having said that, you can just put heavy things on your tofu to press it, but this does a great job, is easy to clean and store, and provides even pressure at an affordable.
There is no better TOFU TAMER than this. In order to release the moisture from the tofu, I now use the Tofu Tamer. A Tamer will eliminate all of the water and is very easy to use. For 15 minutes, place the tofu in the tofu tamer. I guarantee you'll fall in love with.
There is nothing I like better than Previous to using this press, I used a spring press, and each has its pros and cons. Two reasons explain why I am in favor of this. I have the option of selecting the level of water I want to remove from the surface. Also, I can make marinated tofu in batches at the same time and make two tofu loaves at once.
