I've tried ordering chard from Amazon Fresh a few times now with mixed results. When I first ordered it, all of the leaves were completely wilted (and useless). About a quarter of the leaves were wilted and/or going bad by the time I ordered it the second time. Ordering swiss chard and other greens/fresh herbs from Amazon Fresh has been a bad experience in my opinion (except for kale--which has been great). It is usually in good condition when it is delivered).
The crop appears to have been ruined by worms/caterpillars. There is always a lot of bug damage. The crop appears to have been ruined by worms/caterpillars. br>In the fridge, it quickly wilts. Do not make a purchase.
As I prepared to prepare the leaves on the second day after receiving them, I was greeted by wilted leaves. These should only be ordered if you intend to use them right away.
We'll need a reliable local source. It looked as if it had just come from the farm.
Wilted and sparse, with only a few greens that were still edible. I feel like I squandered my money on this item, and I've never seen greens in a store that were so wilted.
It would be preferable if the food was more fresh. The product had a shorter shelf life than anticipated. To avoid spoilage, make sure to consume it within a few days.
They're fantastic in casseroles and on the stovetop.
