Instead, buy the ones in a salad container, which will last longer and look fresher.
Pathetic!.
The majority of the pieces are old and slimy, and the stems have fallen off. The previous 48 hours have been spent The 72 hours could have gone to a food bank. At the very least, it wasn't squandered and may have helped someone. I appreciate the online grocery delivery service, as well as the hardworking front-line employees and delivery drivers who help us all. Since Amazon bought Whole Foods, it's been upsetting to see food that's past its sell-by date being sold to any of us!.
It's fine when it's fresh, but it's awful when Amazon sends me a rotten slimy bunch. We won't be buying this for a long time because I've had two weeks of slimy produce from Amazon. I wish Amazon would do a better job of working with WF to get produce delivered that isn't molded, rotten, or slimy.
I'm a regular at Whole Foods, and this variety of green leafy vegetables surprised me. I kept the bunch refrigerated until the next day, and I'm glad I did because I was able to see how filthy the entire bunch was before it started to rot. Better quality is to be expected.
This spinach, unlike baby spinach, can be felt, tasted, and sauteed. A large bunch of very fresh greens in a large bundle. Easy to sauté with olive oil in a hot pot. Cook for four servings right away while the ingredients are still fresh; leftovers keep well in the refrigerator. I'm a big fan of the organic greens from Whole Foods.
