I took a long business trip from Tulsa to Boston a few years ago. While I was there, I developed a taste for New England Clam Chowder. I've had the chowder in every restaurant I've been to since then. None of them have come close to matching my experience in Boston. Now that I'm retired, I've decided to give the various ones you sell a try. I've googled "which is the best" before every purchase, and it changes every time, but none have come close to matching the flavor of the one I had in Boston until this brand: great flavor, more clams, bacon, onions, and potatoes. I have no intention of continuing my research.
It isn't cheap, but I suppose you have to pay more for such high-quality canned goods. For two average people, one of these cans is enough food. br>br>Hint: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov To amp up the flavor, I added a small can of chopped clams.
As a thank-you gift, I sent this to my son. He made it for me one night when he was visiting from out of town, and I loved it. I knew I should send them because he had eaten at the original restaurant. br>It's delectable; I couldn't believe how tasty it was. He follows the recipe exactly as it is written on the can. br>We love clam chowder, and this one is right up there with the best I've ever had.
My sister visited Cedar Key and raved about the clam chowder she enjoyed there. Tony's clam chowder was my lunch at the art festival there. I'd like to take some home with me because it was fantastic. They'd all been taken. When I first looked on Amazon, everything was sold out. They only had a few left after a week's search. It was necessary to place a purchase. So good. It's a little more expensive, but the taste is well worth it. Yum.
We are Clam Chowder connoisseurs who have looked high and low for this level of quality. I was initially skeptical when we were told that Tony's would make us happy. Having grown up in New England and having a father who was a fantastic Master Chef, I know what great chowder tastes like, and this is exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for creating a superior product that is both delicious and nutritious.
This isn't a clam chowder from New England. This clam chowder was terrible. It had MSG in it, which I didn't realize was supposed to be listed on the product. There was way too much heat in the clam chowder (not chile) and the clams looked like they were from a can of minced clams. The potatoes appeared to be from a can. This product had a terrible aftertaste. This could never win a prize for best chowder in New England.
Just so you know, this isn't your ordinary clam chowder. The flavors and spices in this one are very spicy and zesty. br>I don't care for it, but if you like spicy clam chowder, you might enjoy it. Everyone has their own distinct preferences. So go ahead and try it out!.
However, there is a lot of shredded clam meat. The only disadvantage is that they added a pinch of heat in the form of cayenne pepper, which you should be aware of if you have a sensitive stomach. br> I'd like to have a little more!.
