My husband and I decided to go on a soup diet to help us lose weight in preparation for our "summer bodies" during the Covid- We stocked up on organic broths such as chicken, beef, seafood, and vegetable broths when we were 19 years old. I enjoyed experimenting with different ingredients in the broths, and this was one of our favorites. 2 32 oz chicken broth, grilled chicken, Frontier Tortilla Soup Mix, black beans, corn, onion, stewed tomatoes, and salt and pepper to taste As a side dish, tortilla chips and cheese are served. I'm so glad I used a big pot! Frontier Tortilla Mix is very flavorful and has a lot of seasoning. I've already told my friends and family about it, and some of them have tried the soul diet. By the way, I've shed 40 pounds! This is a reasonable price, and it arrived on time, even with the covid- There is a problem with 19 shipping. Don't be afraid to give it a shot! 🍲.
This soup, OMG, is a lifesaver on a weeknight. It only takes four ingredients to make the best-tasting soup you've ever had! I used a store-bought roasted chicken and a jar of salsa to pull the meat off the chicken. The best part about this soup is that you can make it as spicy as you want it to be by using a hot or mild salsa. From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you sit down to a delicious bowl of soup, everything was perfect. Time limit: 30 minutes.
In a large pot, I combine 2 large cans of Swanson or Tyson chicken, a 16 oz jar of Pace chunky salsa, a 48 oz container of chicken broth, and 1 cup water, and cook for 30 minutes. On top, we sprinkle shredded cheese, sour cream, fresh avocado, and tortilla strips! It appears and tastes as if you spent the entire day working on it. It appeals to a wide range of people. On taco Tuesday, we pull out the leftovers from the freezer in several quart-sized ziplock freezer bags. It tastes exactly the same!.
However, it is well worth the money! Eight filling servings can be made from one package. It was fantastic! It's spicy, packed with corn and black beans, and resembles a stew rather than a soup thanks to the addition of shredded chicken. On a rainy day, this is my go-to comfort food.
