This is the only non-fiction book I've read so far. You can buy Progresso soup, which is a suck soup. This morning, I had it as breakfast. Why do you think that is? Because I am capable. This was served with coffee and bacon. My opinion is that this is a boss move. It's worth a shot. You are going to be blown away. br>br>When Prime Pantry had a sale, I purchased the entire product line, and they were all terrible - except in this case. When "It doesn't suck as bad as everything else" is a 5* review for a soup company, you know your soups are bad. br>br>However, there is one decent Progresso on the market - Chowder is a dish that I really enjoy.
My can opener won't open the cans, and my hands are too weak and sore from arthritis to pull the tops off. One of my neighbors opened one for me, but only after I wiped the top with an antiseptic wipe, because pouring out the contents would contaminate the soup by getting it on the top flange and rim of the can. Because the solids and some of the liquid were caught by the flange, it was also difficult to scoop them out. br>KINDLY PROGRESSO - Recognize that many senior citizens prefer to eat soup as a complete meal - I'd LOVE to be able to use your products!.
As a clam chowder connoisseur, I have to say that this is the best canned clam chowder currently available. If you can't get to your favorite restaurant or make it from scratch, it will help you satisfy your cravings. I'm always looking for new ways to improve my chowder. At the moment, they've all disappointed me. I'll edit if I find something better, especially those that claim to be gourmet for twice the price. br>br>If I find something better, I'll edit.
I bought five cans to have on hand in the kitchen. I heated the first can, and it became watery and icky within 2 minutes of being placed in bowls. I was concerned that I had heated it too quickly, so I tried a slow warm on low on another can. I tried microwaving another can on low and got the same result. Same result: I contacted General Mills, who informed me that the "Rich" comes in TWO versions. New England Clam Chowder with a Kick". Which one degrades while the other maintains its thickness? The UPC code and the coding on the bottom of the can are the only ways for the consumer to figure out which one they're buying. which makes no sense unless you call General Mills' customer service line before you go shopping because the actual labels read the same except for the print and codes? In addition, GMOs are now used in Progresso soups.
' This item was found in Prime Pantry, which made me very happy. I adore New England Clam Chowder, and this is by far the best I've tried. (It's not like I can't make my own!) br>br>I had a very filling lunch, thanks to an abundance of both clams and potatoes. There are enough servings for two people. br>br>Will definitely buy this again as part of my'stocking up' for the winter at my cabin. br>br>A great flavor that was delivered to my door. br>br>Strongly advised.
What clams are you talking about? Potato chowder is a better name for it. The broth is extremely watery and flavorless; I'd estimate a potato-to-clams ratio of 95-to-1. BLAH. Put a few ounces of clams in there, blend some of the potatoes with the watery milk to thicken it up, and increase the price by 50 cents. As far as I'm aware, I've never tried gruel, but this is how I envision it tasting.
Adding clams is all that's required. Clam chowder is one of my favorite things to eat. This is the issue with this "Clam Chowder. " There are no clams in this dish; instead, it is flavored with clams. I went out and bought a can of clams to go with the next one I open. Two buts of clams were sampled. The majority of the potatoes were huge chunks.
This chowder has no place in a landfill. With this terrible project, the high standards of true New England chowder are completely lost. 1/10, and may the chowder gods have mercy on your souls. Go Red Sox.
