Rice, carrots, and whatever else crunchies up at night make up that BBC the c soup! The basil-flavored cream of tomato soup was full of chewy rice and carrots, but it lacked basil flavor

For someone who needs to eat soft foods, I ordered this soup. I'm completely dissatisfied because there's no way to return or exchange this item! The soup's name is deceiving! I would have gladly returned the three soups that were left over from the four-pack in exchange for Frontier's other soups to give them a fair chance.

It's ridiculously tasty

To begin, I must state that I am generally opposed to packaged foods, canned goods, and the like. While I enjoy tomato soup, the idea of making it from scratch appealed to me. I came across this at the supermarket and decided to give it a shot. All of the ingredients are natural and have been freeze-dried or dried. Chicken stock and a can of crushed tomatoes (plus cream if desired) are all that's required. I was blown away by how delicious this soup turned out to be! Of course, it's even better with cream, but if you don't want to use cream, it also makes a good low-fat soup. Because our local grocery store no longer carries these flavors, I was thrilled to discover them on Amazon (and at a great price! I was paying $6 or $7 for one package). It comes highly recommended!.

The only thing I'll do differently next time is puree the finished soup with an immersion blender so it's smoother and less chunky - However, that is simply my personal preference.
