During the winter, I make a homemade soup at least once a week. My husband and I both cook and enjoy good food, so we rarely buy anything pre-made. It can be made or purchased as a blend. Over the last year, I've increased my volunteer work from three to five hours per week. I work part-time and find that when it comes to cooking on the weekends, I really just want to make something delicious that is also simple and quick to prepare. I'm always the one to make soup, so I decided to try Frontier Soups' Red Pepper Corn Chowder. I'm so glad I did because this soup is fantastic! My expectations for the soup have been exceeded. I just added a few extra touches, and my husband had no idea it wasn't made from scratch! "This recipe is a keeper," he said emphatically. " The only modification I made to the recipe was to add a 10 oz. I used a can of drained whole clams, a small baked (or microwave-baked) potato cut into small cubes, and grated Swiss cheese on top of each bowl of soup right before serving. I used half of the cream called for in the recipe. half. This was an excellent find! I've now placed an order with Frontier to try out two more styles. I'm hoping they're also good cooks!.

Because we are vegetarians, we have only tried the vegetarian Frontier soups. When we make it, we do add shrimp to the mix, and it's delicious! This is a quick and easy meal for those nights when you just can't help yourself but eat something.

Flavors were excellent; perhaps a tad too thick, but that's a matter of personal preference; overall, a good meal for three people. 4 people. I just placed an order for a few more for the chilly winter evenings.

I liked the flavor of this product, but I thought there was too much cayenne pepper in it. Even though the cooking time is listed as 30 minutes, this is insufficient. If you soak it first, it will be easier to work with.
