It's a good starting point for adding other elements. It has a nice texture and isn't completely pureed. As a quick lunch or "survival" food, this is an excellent choice.

Excellent product, but four of the twelve cans were damaged when they arrived. The exterior box was undamaged, indicating that this occurred during the initial packing process.
