Shelf space is costly, and the store is unlikely to be busy enough to justify it.

To begin with, they contain MSG. Most people's dislike for MSG stems from misinformation, but I thought I'd point that out. br>br>However, Mrs. Weiss's noodles remain the best in the business. The bouillon packet can be made more satisfying by adding a little cooking sherry and spices, but the noodles are the star of the show. Regardless of what you do, don't rush them - When it says twenty minutes at a low simmer, it means exactly that. Mrs. Grass or Lipton noodles are not included. br>br>Be sure to give it a second chance. ish- strength. For a full box (two packets), I use around 6 cups. Unless I doctor the soup extensively, I find that the recommendation of one packet per five cups results in a weak soup. This box, on the other hand, contains enough ingredients to make twelve double-baked cookies. So, go ahead and try it both ways if you're feeling adventurous.
Noodle soup is my all-time favorite. I'm sure it's partly motivated by nostalgia for my grandfather's use of this to serve his homemade dumplings to me when I was sick. Only four stars because a few more noodles would make it perfect. br>Anyway, I'm wondering if this is being discontinued because it's not listed on Mrs. Weiss' website and it's hard to find in stores - At least, that's how it feels in northern Ohio. br>I'm writing this review primarily to share expiration dates, as I've purchased some items on here that were too close to expiration to be sold in bulk. We have about a year and a half left on these (I'm sure they won't last that long!). They will be phased out in January of 2020.
Weiss' soup mix was a pantry staple when I was a kid growing up in NE Ohio. Given that 2020 has been a dumpster fire of a year, I needed some comforting bowls that would transport me back to my childhood. Because I now live in California, I had no choice but to purchase in bulk, which is fine because you never know when the next major lockdown will occur. I've been a vegetarian for a long time, but I make an exception for the "chicken flavor" paired with plentiful noodles that do not disappoint.
This is fantastic! I cook chicken legs, then remove them to cool. Instead of using water, I use the chicken broth. Debone the chicken and cook it with the broth and Mrs Weiss chicken soup mix in a saucepan. With freshly baked bread, this dish is fantastic. Yum!.
It's a fantastic addition to any meal when done correctly, and it's usually the main course for us because it's so tasty. Weiss Chicken Kluski Noodle Soup appears in our pantry, but it isn't a "front and center" addition. I add a packet or two of lemon powder or fresh lemon juice to it, even though it's perfect as is.
Weiss' Kluski Noodle Soup. I learned a long time ago to use HALF the amount of water recommended and to add a tablespoon of butter. It tastes great.
It was simple and quick to place an order with Amazon. I'll probably order every two months or so from now on!.
This is the most delectable canned soup I've ever tasted. It's perfect for these chilly days. is a substantial meal.
