Chili is more like buffalo wings in terms of heat. This was a pretty good hamburger for the price, and it was shipped fast and came in solid packaging. Molds and spills are not an issue. I received the item in the size and quantity I had ordered. That's not the spicy Harissa that I was looking for, like the Moroccan or Tunisian varieties that are super hot. Tolerance of spicy food is very good for me. According to a scale of 1 to 10, my tolerance level falls between a 8 and a 9 An 8 out of 10 is probably about right for this. I would guess that the intensity level of the buffalo wing sauce is the same as most regular wing sauces. Tabasco sauce may be used instead of mild. The air feels cool to the touch and there is no real heat present. Some people cannot stand spicy food at all, so this might be too hot for them. However, it does have a nice flavor so I plan to grind an additional 2 or 3 steamed habanero peppers or Carolina Reaper peppers to mix in the hope that I will be able to get the heat I am Due to my tolerance level, this was not a good choice, so I won't be trying it again The ordering process. I hate it! One month after using a small quantity of the product in a recipe, another recipe required me to remove the container for cleaning. When I removed it from the refrigerator, I found green mold growing on the surface. It is not necessarily true that this natural product will last forever, but the lesson to be learned from it is to use it soon after opening, as according to my experience after opening it does not 'keep well' for future use.
In spite of my many trips to Tunisia and my love of Tunesian harissa, I did not care for this product. The harissas that I know are very flavorful and have quite a kick, it doesn't matter whether they come in tubes or jars. Weak in flavor and mild in appearance, the product does not live up to expectations. The first time I opened it, I kept it in the fridge for a few weeks, but I had to throw it out because the mold had grown on it. Since this is the case and the price point is high, I will not place another order.
We enjoy this product much, as my wife uses it in her Mediterranean dishes.

It has a great flavor and is both hot and spicy. This is a great ingredient to add to eggs and for cooking. The price of this harissa is the best I've found online. The luxury companies I would like to try are more numerous, but as someone new to the ingredient, this was the best buy for me.
