Returns are not allowed, and the product is unsafe A very disappointing experience.
This is an unsafe time to eat. A lid arrived raised on the jar, which, according to the text on the lid, should not be consumed if raised. I was really looking forward to cooking this product and was disappointed that it's hard to find at grocery stores. The $12 was a complete waste.
There is none of the way on earth that I would buy this product again and recommend absolutely no one to buy it. Having spent my money for such a waste.
As a result, I lost 10 dollars for something I will have to toss out because Amazon will not accept food returns. The flavor and thickness of other brands (the taste and thickness of this brand are usually pretty bland and watery) are better, but I thought I was getting a good deal when I bought it. Not at all. The brand I bought is one I won't ever buy.
I thank Amazon for being there. This ingredient was called for in a Peruvian roasted chicken recipe. We looked in several local stores but could not find it, but Amz came to the rescue as usual. Delicious!
Definitely worth eating. Marinating the chicken for 24 hours prior to roasting was the best method. It was a hit with my husband and kids. The recipe can be found by searching "Peruvian Roasted Chicken" - you will find pictures and pictures of the dish. Your expectations will not be disappointed, I believe.
I would also recommend buying the Aji Panca since it is also called for in the recipe. A multi pack by the same company caught our eye, and we ordered more so we could take it overseas.
A Peruvian friend introduced me to this seasoning, and she's the one who put me on to it. There are just a few hints of spice, nothing too intense. Food is definitely made better by adding flavor to it. Lomo saltado is what I use it most for. Even though the price was a bit high, a little went a long way, so I was pleased with the deal.
We As we settle in to retirement, we recently found a new Peruvian place (far fancier) that reminded us of how much we love that dish. In my love of food, and for love of re-creating restaurant dishes, I stumbled upon the magic sauce known as Despite my disappointment, I have not been Our family is very pleased with this sauce. I have made vegetable saltado and green rice with it so far, and I am sure we will have many more great meals made We will buy from them.
A subscription to my boyfriend's publication introduced me to yellow paper paste. It is of a different brand, but both are fantastic! Initially, I didn't know what to do with yellow pepper paste. So I turned to Google and used it as the basis for my recipe I then found a recipe on Pinterest that is one of my boyfriend's, as well as my, favorite dishes to prepare! (Peruvian dish with flavors that will slap your mom's face! Lomo Saltado is an incredibly tasty, spicy and slap your momma good dish!.
