Questions & Answers

My garganelli broke in half when I cooked it for one minute less than the package said to cook it for. What can I do to prevent that from happening ?

Garganelli should be cooked for six minutes in gently boiling water. When you taste it, it is not done. Cook for another minute and then taste again. Taking a few minutes is all it takes. A summer favorite, it has become a staple of our meals.

It's all about the pasta in Italy
5/5

It was amazing. This was divine. Let me first say that the box did not contain any instructions as to how long to cook it. In this case, al dente pasta is to my taste if it is made fresh. Italians cook to taste or in this case, bite to the bite. Whenever I buy store bought pasta, like Barilla, I cook it for just a bit longer than the label specifies but not for the entire cooking time. I make a homemade ragu that goes perfectly with this pasta because it catches the sauce and the meat. In contrast to penne, it draws a much larger crowd. This was a heavenly feeling. Since discovering this brand, we have been hooked on it.

The taste, feel, and quality are the best
5/5

They make a great product and everything they make is great. Do not overcook to get the best results. Make sure you get the results you want by trying until you succeed. You need to keep in mind that pasta will continue to cook and soften as it absorbs any liquid or sauce it is exposed to. I am Sally the Chef.

The price is so high, but the quality is There is nothing better than this pasta dish
5/5

We are fans of any of the Rustichella d'Abruzzo pastas, but this particular one is our favorite among the brand we pay about $10 a package for this (approximately 6 servings), and this pasta is very flavorful and delicate. Red sauces work well in these containers, since the shape of the bowl keeps sauces in place. I recommend it!.

It was special because he was there
5/5

Mac n cheese cooked in milk with potatoes, gruyere cheese and smothered onions is what this sauce is used for. Compared to other pasta shapes with similar shapes, it had just the right bite and wasn't at all heavy. The next time I buy I will buy directly from the manufacturer.

I would say there is a good value here, but the pasta is not that great
4/5

It is rather expensive for a pasta, but the quality doesn't justify the price. The pasta simply isn't that good.
