The reason I buy these for my mom is that she has type 2 diabetes and they aren't bad for her. As a result, they don't have that odd taste like some veggie based pasta or keto-focused pasta. However, I do not think it is keto because of the high carb count, and because there is not enough fiber to balance out the carbs.
