I see pasta for $10, but it's not there. There are 21 cents in it. I am 70 years old & 20 years old It says the amount is $100. According to one item, the weight is 27 per ounce, which would mean there are five boxes, however at another place it says it's only 16 ounces. One box would be one unit. Would you care to tell me?

I have only been able to find spaghetti lately. This orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe is AMAZING! I prepare it as follows Broil garlic in olive oil with red pepper flakes for a few seconds. Add the broccoli rabe to the pot after washing and shaking off the excess water. Put a cover on and cook at a low temperature for a few minutes. Sausages should be browned without casing, then broccoli rabe should be added. The orecchiette should be served over the sauce. Grated parmesan cheese should be sprinkled on top. Pasta made in Italy known as DeCecco is available locally but not anymore since COVID has been introduced.
Tubular pasta like this one is quite delicious and quite large in size. However, if you do try them, be aware that they do take a little bit longer to cook than typical pasta. A few of the directions were misleading to us. It is always a good idea to test pasta before the cooking is finished, and you should do the same with these pastas. When we tested it at the recommended time, we found it to be still way too hard (much harder than al dente). You should give it a try. You can partly boil them, then stuff them with cheese and meat, cover them with sauce, and bake them like lasagna or ziti. That will be my plan next time, to see how it works.
