My experience so far has been exceptional with all the Dreamfield pasta products I have tried. The flavor of the pasta is comparable or better than that of any boxed pasta. To my mind, there is nothing better than boxed pasta prepared al dente (since I would say that of all pasta in general). Linguine is probably my favorite and I eat it the most often of all the Dreamfield pastas. I prefer the consistency of the thick spaghetti over spaghetti. It only takes a couple of minutes longer to cook than spaghetti. There is nothing that Dreamfield pasta can't match as far as taste is concerned. For those who need or want a low-cost option, this is a must If you are hypoglycemic or diabetic Pasta with carbs.
It is the best pasta I have ever eaten. It must be cooked according to the package directions to keep it from getting yucky overcooked. To this day I have tried each and every "Healthy" pasta and none of them have stood up to this one. of its unique manufacturing process and high fiber content, the pasta is low in carbohydrates and can be consumed guilt-free by diabetics. There are so many wheat and wheatblend pastas on the market now that I can't say the same for this pasta. At Amazon, I am now buying it by the case. $2 is comparable to what we pay at our grocery store. Packs of four are 49 cents each. Two to three is about right. There is a price difference of $60 but it is delivered free, so it makes up for the They have so far made a lot of shapes that I love. The customer has not complained.
It has a low impact on blood sugar and makes great pasta dinners. Besides tasting great, it's also healthy.
Despite my picky husband, I can often pass this off as regular pasta. No funny aftertaste or weird smells or tastes.
This pasta is delicious.
Atkins diet choices became more appealing to me after I added this one. To test the linguine that I had just purchased from Subscribe & Save, today I decided to dine on it For just $29, you can get 10 boxes. The second one). After I cooked it, I thought I'd better make sure the linguine only had 5g digestible carbs since I have only eaten the rotini and the lasagna previously. So I looked at the box, but there were no nutrition facts listed. There are 41 grams of carbs listed in the nutrition information. My research on the internet turned out to be false, because it was claimed that indigestible carbs were actually a lot better for you. Earlier this year, Dreamfields settled a class action lawsuit on the matter. I am quite uncomfortable about that this happened a couple of months ago and I am not aware In some way, the news story has slipped completely under my radar. In other words, it was underreported, to use those savvy marketing slang terms. If you are attempting to lose weight on the Atkins diet, avoid eating this. A serving is equivalent to 2 days of carbs (at least in Phase I). Unlike other Dreamfields products sold on Amazon, however, I rate this product 5* because it tastes great, and the product info for this item does not claim to be "low carb" or that it contains "only 5g net carbs per serving," unlike other Dreamfields products. In order to avoid confusion, I want to let you know that this product is not low-carb.
Pasta from Dreamfields has been in my pantry for about a year and a half. My wife and I use it as a kitchen staple. To help me control my blood sugar while still enjoying pasta dishes, I bought this supplement. I'm surprised my husband, who is usually very picky about food, didn't notice that it was high-fat It helped to have fiber (well, until he later got gassy). From a taste perspective, this pasta is on par with quality regular A whole wheat cookie won't be gritty like a whole wheat one. It is a very nice product that is beneficial for anyone watching their sugar intake. Adding to that, I do not understand the superfluous information The kind of sleepiness I get after eating regular pasta (you know, the kind that comes after carbs). As well as using the penne, the linguine, the elbows (for mac'n'cheese) and the lasagna (for veggie and regular lasagne casseroles), I've used the elbows for mac'n'cheese. I love it. They are all the same. I give it a thumbs up in terms of flavor.
The only complaint I have is that it seems pricey for pasta, but buying in bulk with no shipping fees helps until I can get it in my local stores.
