I had the chance to visit Chicago and try the original Chicago Dog, which I fell in love with right away. To Texans who don't know what it is, it's difficult to describe. The majority of us can't seem to get over the fact that the dog isn't dipped in Ketchup. (Smile). But now that I've made the Chicago Dogs with the Shocking Lime Green Relish and peppers, my family and friends won't eat any other hot dog. It has a wonderful flavor. It's the ideal combination.
We will not attempt to eat the sport peppers because they were leaking when we attempted to open the package. The lid appeared to be loose, allowing the juice to escape. As a result, we have no idea whether or not they are good. Just know that they're garbage in my book. The relish was delicious and perfect. br>As a result, half of the order was excellent and the other half was a complete disaster.
Buy these if you want the real deal for your Chicago dog. For the price, you get a lot of product.
I enjoyed the relish (though I wish they hadn't gone overboard with the green dye). It tastes a lot better than Heinz or other similar brands. The sport peppers are a little spicy for my taste, but that's just my opinion. They're pricey, but do you really need to buy them that often?.
