I just went through my jar and double-checked the contents. Did you know that the caper bush's unopened flower is called a caper? It is : ) According to the label, these are made from a Mediterranean bush that covers a large area. Tunisia is, according to my understanding, the world's caper capital. The product is, however, made in the United States, according to the jar label. So, I'm guessing the capers are from the Mediterranean. The vinegar, salt, water, and other curing ingredients are sent from the country to a packaging company in the United States. These capers are absolutely delicious. If you like capers, you might want to try dry-pickling them. I'm not sure if Amazon has these, but they're huge "mountain" capers that have been cured in salt. SurLaTable is one of the companies that does. The Amazon capers, in my opinion, are unrivaled in terms of taste, value, and the convenience of having a large quantity of capers on hand. After opening, they must be kept refrigerated. which isn't a big deal and takes up about the same amount of room as a jar of mayonnaise.
One 32 oz. bottle is included in the price. jar, but at a cost of $5 at the supermarket 00 for a 4-ounce bottle This is a 20 savings jar. This is a fantastic offer.
I examined the jar carefully and found no indication of the drained weight. However, I have an olive jar that appears to be the same size as yours. The drained weight of the olives is listed as 21 oz. on that jar. I'm not sure if this is helpful.
sodium: 84 mg per teaspoon % is 4 d v v v v v v v v% NOTE: The smaller Roland caper nonpareils in the 3 oz. size are now my go-to. Different company's bottle, but the sodium content is approximate, as we keep an eye on that as well. Good luck with your endeavors. A teaspoon will be used by a small percentage of the population. I'd say it's more of a half-hour. You can always rinse them off; it will have no effect on the taste.

Like many other reviewers, I enjoy capers in a variety of dishes but am frustrated by the small jars sold for $4 or less in supermarkets. It's not so much the price that bothers me as the feeling that these tiny babies are rare, thus the little-jar price. packaging for jars My philosophy is to use them liberally and to appreciate the flavor and goodness they bring to so many dishes. They're also common, not uncommon. br>br>As a result, I was ecstatic to come across this opportunity. It arrived today, well-packaged and in excellent condition. I used them feely on fresh, sliced tomatoes, a chicken pastie, and American fries to celebrate the abundance. Capers, on the other hand, were thrown in with the fries by accident. This was a caper-based meal that was absolutely delicious. I see the large jar every time I open the fridge. I believe it is giving me a friendly smile.
Jar was well-protected by foam wrap when it arrived. A puddle of liquid had formed. The top isn't firmly screwed down. Several capers had been smashed against the glass threads, indicating that there was no vacuum seal. I forgot to mention that there are no refunds or returns. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
I was worried that a large jar of capers wouldn't make it to my house, but they were packed so carefully that they arrived in perfect condition! I'm impressed by this seller because I've had so many failed shipments from other vendors. The capers are delicious in and of themselves. Capers from my local grocery store are salty but not too salty, and they don't have the bitterness that I've found in other capers. They're small, tender, and full of flavor that's not just salt, plus they're a great deal. I paid about three times the price of the small jars in my store for easily ten times the amount of capers! I'm very pleased with these, and I'll be ordering more.
These aren't for you if you like things big and soft. br>br>And, while it's a good deal, I believe Costco is a better deal.
I decided to give these a try based on the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed: Taste, size, and texture are all excellent. (And the price is unbeatable! )br>br>These are essential when making lemon chicken! Alternatively, simply squeeze a fresh lemon over a serving of rotisserie or roasted chicken and top with a dozen or so of these. I also use a lot of them in tuna salad, along with cumin, chili, mustard, mayonnaise, a pinch of salt, and some eucalyptus honey: absolute perfection! Try it! I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends, and I plan to purchase it again.
These are my favorite capers because they are large enough to taste and plentiful enough that I don't feel compelled to use them sparingly. I'm glad I was able to get them here because they're hard to come by in my area. I was a little worried about shipping a glass jar, but it was well-packaged, so there were no problems; it's so much better than those tiny grocery store items.
Excellent value when compared to the price of small bottles. In contrast to the tiny, overpriced bottle of capers, the large quantity allows you to use as little or as much as you want. Also, the seller's packaging was excellent! This is a fantastic achievement. Definitely a five star rating.
When you arrive, the jar is already open. It's a disaster. Two boxes of crackers were ruined by liquid, and the shipping box was soaked. The box was delivered in a plastic bag. Capers were all over the box because the lid on the jar had come off. Dang! I couldn't wait to put these to use!.
