Despite the fact that I am not Jewish, I will attempt to respond to your question. I conducted some research on the following topics: Is it kosher to eat olives? They grow olives, press them, and sell some of the best olive oil in the world, so there is no definitive yes or no answer. Generally, there will be a kosher mark on the package, but I can't say that you'll be wrong if you don't eat these wonderful little olive packs. If you're still unsure, consult a Rabbi.

I immediately noticed that some of the packages were empty, which is a bad sign that the product has expired. The smell was unbearable after opening a "chili and garlic" flavor packet, as if the olives had begun to rot. We don't think this product is safe to eat because of the lack of quality control.
Because my daughter and I both enjoy olives, this seemed like a great lunch option. the- idea for a snack Unfortunately, they are revolting and have a rancid flavor. We tried the other flavors of olives to see if it was just that pouch, but we spit them out as well. I was disappointed, and even more so because I had to pay $26 for spoiled olives that I couldn't return. This olive oil product is NOT something I would recommend.
The black pitted olives, on the other hand, had a strange flavor. I believe they are defective because the tiny package is ballooning out as if there is a gas buildup inside. To compare one of the green olive packs to the black olive pack, I included a picture. Perhaps someone can shed some light on what's wrong with the black olive; regardless, I'll continue to order these olives because the green pitted variety is delicious!.
The chili and garlic packets had a strong aroma when I opened them. It smelled like a strong olive oil, which it could have been. It appeared to be a little dark, and there was no sign of garlic or chilis in the packaging, but perhaps the oil had been marinated for packaging? No. They'd deteriorated to such an extent. When I tried eating it, it tasted like alcohol and caused a tingling sensation in my mouth. That was the case with each and every bag of chili and garlic. The garlic and chili had devolved into the strange brown smear that encircled the package. I haven't even attempted to open the others because the risk isn't worth it. Food poisoning and the possibility of botulism are not on my to-do list.
I'm aware that the taste of a product's contents can be affected by its packaging. I was persuaded to try these by a coworker, and I'm so glad I did! br>br>Because they aren't nicely packaged, don't expect them to make a nice gift. It's just your standard Amazon box, complete with these tiny olive packets tied into a plain plastic bag. We didn't notice because we simply tossed the packets into a basket, but it's good to know in case you were counting on attractive packaging. Each olive packet holds about ten medium olives. If you're anything like me, you'll be tempted to eat multiple packets just because they're delicious! However, if you include one with your lunch, you will be satisfied. br>br>As for the taste, they're so good that it's hard not to eat the whole thing! I couldn't tell the difference between an olive from a glass jar and one from a plastic container. They have a very "clean" flavor to them, with none of the metallic tang that canned olives have. The olives are sealed in with just a smidgeon of oil and flavoring, not enough to overwhelm the olive, but just enough to saturate it in deliciousness. The flavoring isn't particularly strong. The olive flavor is discernible, and the flavoring does not overpower the experience. It's just the right amount of sweetness to make it irresistible. If you like olives, you'll enjoy these delectable flavored olive snacks.
I purchased the variety pack in order to sample all of their flavors. These olives are squishier than I'd like right away; it's not that I dislike them, but I was expecting a firmer olive. They have a mushier texture to them. The Lemon flavor is the most popular among the four. Rosemary is the one I can't stand, and I even had a taste test with a couple of other friends to see what they thought. a lemon Rosemary was the one who everyone despised. Strangely enough, I adore lemon, but the rosemary was simply too strong. Chili was by far my favorite. Chili and Garlic (Ripe Black Pitted Olives) come next, followed by Oregano (Natural Green Pitted Olives). After that, Basil Garlic. These were an excellent trail snack for me in Arches National Park and on all of our other camping trips this year. My husband is serious about this. In front of many monuments, children photographed me happily munching on an olive snack. ha. These are perfect for me because I enjoy salty snacks. It's ideal to- go snack. However, because I disliked the Lemon, I would not order this variety pack again. That's a lot of Rosemary.
First and foremost, why are these not returnable? I really need to improve my checking skills because every item I have a problem with has this status when I try to repair it! Something was smeared all over these (grease? ) and rips packages apart. I'm not impressed that I have to discard 3/12 of the food.
I recently purchased them and tried the Basil and Garlic varieties. Yum! For a mid-day snack, one pack was more than sufficient. a pleasant surprise in the afternoon However, since they had just arrived and I couldn't resist trying out one more flavor pouch because I get so excited about trying something new that I can't help myself, I went with the Chili and Oregano. I was initially concerned that it might be too hot/spicy for me, but I didn't taste anything hot/spicy from the chili in it. The olives were simply bursting with flavor, and I don't believe anyone should be alarmed by the presence of chili in the seasoning. I'm so glad I went ahead and bought these little packs. I'm really looking forward to snack time with them now!.
