The flavor was good, but there were fewer servings than listed and the spices were unincorporated
3/5

The Kalamata Olives with Thyme have a rich kalamata taste. The bundles are practical. There are two issues to consider: (1) The serving size is described as approximately 5 olives per serving, with a total of 10 in a package. None of the ones I've tried so far have had more than 7 - My guess is that the inclusion of some olive juice (despite the fact that the package claims they are packed without juice, there is far too much juice for this to be true) and the random pieces of bark/thyme (see 2 below) add to the package's weight and displace actual olives while adding no value. One star is deducted. (2) the addition of "thyme" (small hard pieces that appear as small twigs or randomly-placed sprigs) black pieces with odd shapes) are a pain to deal with. They don't add any flavor to the olives and make them unpleasant to eat. The smaller pieces stick to your fingers and teeth, while the larger pieces require you to take them out of your mouth because chewing a small piece of wood feels like chewing a small piece of wood, which defeats the purpose of having pitted olives. A second star has been taken away from the rating. Overall, these were acceptable. br>br> I wouldn't buy them again because the product isn't what it claims to be and is more of a pain to eat than simply separating olives into bags on my own. Furthermore, given all of the issues, it is extremely costly.

Easily transportable Snack will accompany you
3/5

I absolutely adore this product; I receive three boxes per month and occasionally run out of them before the next one arrives. I have one criticism, which is why I only gave it three stars. When I got to the third box in my last shipment (March), I discovered several packets that were not like the others. Three of them had a garlic flavor to them. Now, because I am a huge fan of garlic, I didn't object and ate them. I dug a little deeper into the box today and discovered three packets flavored with "savory pepper. " I don't like pepper in any form, so I'll have to toss those three out. Now I feel like I've been completely duped - I'm missing three packets, and I don't want to ask for a refund because half of the box wasn't what it was supposed to be - I ate three of them, mostly because I was hungry - However, I wanted to voice my dissatisfaction with the lack of quality assurance. This is clearly a mistake because there is no indication on the outside of the box that there are multiple flavors inside. I just got my April shipment in the mail. If I find any inconsistencies when I open those boxes, I will update this review. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't have to do that. I just finished the last four packets in the box, and three of them are black olives rather than green! Okay, I'm going to request a refund now. This is completely absurd!.

Not at all what I had anticipated
3/5

So, normally, I despise the flavor of olives, but I'm the type of person who will re-introduce them into my diet. tries new foods on a regular basis to see if my preferences have shifted. On a flight with Alaska Airlines in 2017, this happened to me. The Mediterranean Snack Box, which includes hummus, pita chips, almonds, and these olives, was what I ordered. They turned out to be absolutely delicious, much to my surprise. br>br>Since that flight, I've ordered that snack box on every Alaska Air flight I've taken—specifically because those olives are so delicious. I'd been craving them recently, so I went online to see if I could track them down. Imagine my disappointment when they tasted nothing like regular, disgusting olives, despite the fact that I was so excited for them to arrive. br>br>I'm not sure if there's a difference between what I'm getting here and the ones that came in the snack box on those flights, or if it's just that I wasn't eating them with hummus and pita chips. All I want is for them to be as good as I remember them being. br>br>Despite my dislike for them, I gave them a few extra stars because they're clearly a high-quality product, and I don't think most olive fans will be disappointed. The olives are very flavorful, and the packaging makes them easy to carry around as a snack.

I like these as a snack or in a salad because they are a great snack product
4/5

I work in remote Barrow, Alaska, and I try to keep a variety of tasty but simple foods on hand; I've become known for my snack cabinet (the crew refers to it as "The Store"), and these are a product I have a hard time keeping on hand because everyone loves them. We like that they're not packed with juice (but don't make the mistake of tipping your head back and pouring some of the pouch into your mouth - it's not healthy). If you don't pay attention, a small amount of brine/juice settles off the olives after packing, and you'll get a mouthful (or an eyeful) if you don't. These, along with a bag of pita chips and a small jar of hummus, make a delicious light lunch or afternoon snack. I make an effort to keep unusual items on hand because it's so easy to get bored with the same thing every day up here. These snack packs, which come in a variety of flavors created by Mario, are a great addition that help keep things interesting.

Olive lovers, don't be hesitant
5/5

These olives are a great afternoon snack alternative; I was hesitant at first because I dislike canned olives and prefer to purchase them "fresh" with pits. These olives, on the other hand, were a big hit with me. They have a similar flavor to olives from a supermarket "olive bar," and the serving size is just right. The olives are moist and juicy, but there isn't much juice in the package, so they're not too difficult to eat. I keep them in my office, truck, and backpack for whenever I feel like a snack. They're a hit with two of my daughters, who bring them to school in their lunchboxes. I intend to experiment with other flavors in the future, but the sea salt is excellent.
