Is there a benito and soy flavor to this? I've been on the lookout for it since I first tried a variety of packets and fell in love with the purple benito and soy packet. ?

This is the bointo flake seasoning, which is the best in my opinion. It also has sesame seeds, and I believe the seaweed flakes have a soy sauce flavor.

It gives the rice or whatever steamed vegetables we serve it with a salty, sweet, and umami flavor. Yum!.

Furikake is fantastic when it's new and fresh

These guys are quick to deliver, and their furikake is delicious. The best by dates are a year away, and I'm going to eat it before then, but I appreciate the care they take in making sure you get the best they have to offer; I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

This seasoning for rice is fantastic! I've been buying this locally for a few years, but my oriental market is running out of stock. In the case of Amazon via JFC, this is not the case. Midway through the year, it will expire. I'm expecting this to be crisp and dry, as it is in 2017. The smell of shaved bonito fish may bother some people with sensitive noses and traditional tastes, but I enjoy it. Pickled ginger is also a nice addition to this dish. In the package, each seasoning was bubble wrapped individually. You did an excellent job.

The Katsuo is the most delicious furikake I've ever tasted! It's a hit with all of my roommates as well; The JFC furikake line is delicious in general; it's meant to be sprinkled sparingly over rice, but it also works well in bibimbap and as a garnish for soup/noodle dishes like udon or ramen.

Yum, yum, yum! This is what I use every time I make Tamagokake Gohan, which is quite often! (This is the most delicious comfort food I've ever had! )br>I haven't tried the other varieties yet, but I plan to do so soon. This is something I wish was available in King Size.
