Selected User Reviews For Nagatanien Otona no Furikake Hon Katsuo 5pcs Bonito Flavor 0.44oz (5 Pack)
In each larger sealed bag, there are 5 small packets. There are only two in each packet. 5 grams - a smidgeon's worth for a single bowl of rice or soup The following is an explanation of how to use this package: Salads, soups, pasta/pizza, popcorn, eggs, baked potatoes, or rice should all benefit from the Umami flavor. br>When you taste the material in the packet, it's mostly salty and fishy, as it should be. Hunks of Nori (seaweed) and sesame seeds can be seen. Because it's a white item, it'll look best on a half baked potato or a plate of steamed rice. On a pizza, it would be visually lost and would probably not add flavor because most pizza toppings are already intense. To get a bigger "bang" for less money, add mushrooms or anchovies. br>Do I find it appealing? Yes. It adds a lot of flavor to a bland dish like rice, as well as being visually appealing. If I didn't care about portability, I'd buy "rice seasoning" in a small glass jar with a shaker opening on top because it's cheaper. I get tired of opening a large package in order to get to a smaller package, which leaves little hunks of packaging foil on my plate or eating area. br>I hope that this information is useful.
I used to get it from the Asian store all the time, but after Covid came out, it was no longer available. When I discovered it on Amazon, I was overjoyed.
Very flavorful and fresh. I purchased it once more.
Despite the fact that the word "Otona" appears on the label, "There will be no Furikake," says the narrator. "Adult topping" is a phrase that translates to "adult topping. " , it actually means "carefully crafted, not just for children. " br>It tastes great and would appeal to both adults and children. It is a big hit with my granddaughter.
It's delicious, and I'm a big fan.
With each single serving porch, it can be eaten on its own and isn't at all salty.
