Questions & Answers

Are you able to eat it as a cereal? How do I make it? I can't find instructions?

Each morning, I have buckwheat as cereal with oats cut into steel cuts. My mother made pure buckwheat cereal every now and then when I was a kid, but I don't think it would be good because it depends on how you like it. The ingredients for my mixture are 1 cup steel cut oats, 1/2 cup buckwheat, a small handful of unsalted roasted sunflower kernels, and a small handful of raisins. Put 5 cups of water in a pot and bring to a rolling boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, scraping the bottom occasionally. any leftovers in a Tupperware and stick them in the fridge so you can microwave

Are these raw nuts, or do they have a toasted texture?

It has to be cooked after roasting, just as you do with coffee beans. As you would chew gravel if it weren't for the antioxidants.

What is the organic status of this product?

Essentially, that means it did not get the US certification, which costs a lot of money. However, that does not necessarily mean it is not certified, just that it did not get the US certification. In spite of buying organic food whenever it is available, I only trust the way this produce is grown and purchase it only when it is organic. *br>On top of that, I think it's the best buckwheat I have ever had.

This buckwheat contains no fiber, so why does it provide zero grams per serving?

Fiber is crucial to the health benefits of buckwheat. There are 10 grams of fiber in 100 grams, according to the bag.

So that at next time, I can avoid spills, I will put the entire bag in a double produce bag before opening
5/5

When I opened the colorful cellophane bag, I learned that the buckwheat groats were snugly packed, but they blew out of it when they were opened. In time, I grabbed a handful of empty produce bags to contain the flow. Double bags would likely cut the thin produce bags, so I guess that's why buckwheat groats are packaged in boxes or cellophane bags in the first place. It is one of the best tasting and most aesthetically pleasing snacks available. It is a better value than a In case you aren't aware, the secret to fluffy pilaff style buckwheat (kasha) comes from the coating of beaten egg or egg white that goes around the groats before they are roasted.

Buckwheat of the highest quality! Such a high level of quality is provided by this brand
5/5

People write that it is superior (to the taste and texture) to the American brand, and I can verify that claim by experience. When I was a child, I grew up in Easter Europe where buckwheat was a staple food. It's actually not a grain at all, but rather a seed, which makes it exceptionally nutritious and ideal for people who avoid gluten or are trying to cut it out. There is nothing better than this " grychka" I've ever tasted. The fluffy and delicious texture is just what I like! I would not say it's a deal breaker, but the packaging is not outstanding. The best place to store your buckwheat is in a glass container. The following are some cooking tips Let the buckwheat soak for an hour or so to minimize cooking time, 10 minutes at the most The whole thing takes about 12 minutes. I've also found that buckwheat has a delicious taste that is even enhanced by adding SEA salt and butter - of course. If you want an excellent taste, these two must-have ingredients are essential!.

Invest in something else instead of buying
3/5

This person should not be bought from. The exact same buckwheat I'm buying now is one I bought from a Russian food store before. As a result, the plastic is very hard and will not tear easily. For it to be opened, you'd have to use scissors. One of the bags of buckwheat in the package was completely ripped from end to end, so all of the buckwheat was removed from that Therefore, both the advertised buckwheat and the buckwheat in the package fit the bill. The used bags are being placed with different types of buckwheat, I think. My final conclusion would be that it isn't worth purchasing. Oh, and the person won't return any of our money either, so there is an A to Z investigation underway at present.

This is a wonderful It has a lovely nutty flavor from the roasting of the I will not eat mushy food! Kasha in perfect condition
5/5

I believe it is far superior to the American or Canadian approach. The following was the recipe I used Observation #1. Keep the number one Using water and buckwheat in a ratio of 2 (volume). In other words, you need 2 cups of water to make 1 cup of dry buckwheat (you're making quite a big batch of this! Fill a bowl with water and salt it. (1. I used this. The following is the recipe 5 cups water, 3 cups fruit juice. I had 4 cups of kah shaya and ended up with a lot)*#2. Take note of It's best to use a pot with a lid that fits tight. Keeping the water boiling for the second time, reduce the heat to very low after you've finished step #2. This is #4. I recommend waiting 15 - 20 minutes before thinking about it again. In case you still want to look, you should see fluffy grains on the surface and there should be no water in sight. When that has been done, turn off the heat and allow it to cool This is super-duper Continuing to cover the grain for an additional 10 - 20 minutes is recommended.

THERE IS A KASHA IN MY LIFE THESE ARE THE GOOD THINGS! Kacha has been a part of my life my entire life
5/5

As a child, I ate it often for breakfast, served as a hot cereal, and for dinner as a side dish. It has always been a comfort food to me, so I am extremely picky about how it's prepared. While I will buy coarse grain kasha if there are none available, whole grain is my preferred type. Neither the taste nor the texture of this brand of kasha are less than excellent, and I cannot find anything that is problematic. It is my second bag that I have just ordered. A bulk quantity would be nice, since the little 10 ounce bottles are small and can be easily lost. In the same way that I eat kasha daily, most of the boxes available don't last. It is of great quality, and it is very reasonable in price.

Kasha is a great product! My package, although it was intact and the buckwheat was not dirty, is not in line with reviews from other customers
5/5

As a result, it is far superior to Wolff's kasha in terms of taste and texture. I like it because it is not too mushy and is well roasted/toasted. We are very pleased with the product. This is an item I'll definitely buy again and would recommend to others. The product that I think is better is clearly this one.

Upon opening the package, the contents were seen
3/5

This particular product had an expiration date within three weeks when I bought it the first time. Over the course of one month, I consumed 53 ounces of buckwheat! This is a product that I have ordered several times, as it is cheap and tastes good, so I think I will give it another try. In any case, the package was open and the buckwheat was spilled over. The item cannot be returned or replaced (per the policy). Rotal Scam Wholesales is not worth my time or money! Please be careful.

You don't want to waste your money buying buckwheat from We recommend this as the only buckwheat you should buy in the United States! Whenever you buy other brands in the stores, they will fall apart and turn to mush
5/5

It's not clear what the company does to the seeds that makes them hold their shape after cooking, but yeah, don't waste your time and money buying buckwheat from The taste and texture of buckwheat are satisfying and it is excellent if you are trying to avoid meat. The nutty flavor of buckwheat also helps to make it satisfying. There are several brands of buckwheat I've tried, but this is the one I always go.
