If you mean raw, I am not sure what you are referring to. The organic whole grain seeds need to be cooked before they can be eaten. Being a whole seed, they seem likely to sprout, especially since they are organic and hopefully have not been treated with chemicals. When you buy buckwheat at international supermarkets, you'll notice the difference between real buckwheat and fake buckwheat. A product such as this should not be recommended.
