Imperial Buckwheat Groats 900gr

The package on which this item was found clearly indicates that it is from Europe due to its Russian and English writing. On this page, I could not find any information on country of origin. This was a product produced in the PRC, People's Republic of China, and that is very disappointing for me. The food items cannot be returned, and I would not do so.

This product was delicious! I served it with chicken parmesan and cucumber slices. I love the taste of it. was surprised to see how clean the product was once I washed it with fresh water. I loved the finished product. It was very tender, it had whole grains with none of the husks dislodged, and it tasted fantastic. I will be buying more of it.

The packaging of this item is excellent it is easily resealed. I'm glad I didn't buy one of those giant bags. After I cooked it in rice cooker with white rice setting, it was ready in no time- My appreciation for the flavour of buckwheat has been greatly increased! That may not be my cup of tea. Despite its name, it is not a wheat. It is a great healthy grain that tastes good mixed into a salad or tamed down with peanut sauce.

Buckwheat has too much sodium in it, so I cannot give it to you.
