Please accept my apologies for not having done so. They only take about 20 minutes to cook in any case, so I'm not sure if a pressure cooker is the best option; however, I don't own an Instant Pot.
As if you were making it at home from scratch. BLACK BEANS AND WHITE RICE INSTEAD OF BROWN RICE ARE HEALTHY - SALT, NOT SO MUCH ARE THERE ANY SALT AND PEPPER SEASONINGS? For a quick meal, this is definitely tasty.
When you click on this photo, you'll see photos of all the nutritional information, just like most packaged foods sold on Amazon. It's tasty, but there's a lot of sodium in it. To make it healthier, I've taught my husband to make it with a can of rinsed, reduced, or no salt black beans. Two cans of beans, in my opinion, would suffice.
The package and the color it turns out to be when cooked are almost identical to what you see in this photo. If you can't get to a Spanish restaurant, this is a good substitute; I occasionally add some frozen packaged chopped green and red peppers and onions. Yum!

My husband and I used to eat these all the time when we were dating and in our early married years, but they became unavailable in stores after a while, so I recently discovered them on Amazon, and he was overjoyed. I made a batch of these the other day and had a great time doing it. Hopefully, they'll be available for a long time. Thank you very much!.
This Vigo Black Beans and Rice has been on our table for a long time. On some primal level, it's delicious, filling, and satisfying. It lasts a long time on the shelf, takes up little space, and serves as a complete meal on its own. You can customize it by adding more meat, vegetables, or spices to suit your preferences, and the price has increased slightly. I recall getting it for a lot less when I was younger, but those deals are no longer available. The only drawback is that it can stick to the bottom of the pot depending on the pot and heat level used to cook it. To avoid this, we place one of those heat diffusers under the pot once it has reached a boil and stir frequently.
Especially with a piece of garlic toast, which we used to be able to find at our local Kroger in Mississippi. This is one of our favorite dishes. I tried the other two flavors they offered, but this was by far my favorite; I'd been craving it for years. On Amazon, I discovered them. For a case per pack, it's about the same as it was a few years ago in stores. I mix in some Country Pleasin' Sausage, which I cut into small pieces. Before adding the mix, make sure the water is boiling. My neighbors are pounding on my door, requesting a bowl. This, garlic toast, is my all-time favorite meal. a light salad THE BEST!.
I've been eating this product for decades, and it's unbeatable in terms of ease of preparation and, more importantly, taste; I serve it in an unusual way that I highly recommend. I serve a salad of finely chopped cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and green onions seasoned with Alessi Olive Oil on top of the warm beans and rice.
I was blown away by the quality of this product. This is one item that no rice connoisseur should be without. This item provides excellent nutrition and should be included in a balanced diet. Do not wait any longer! You need to get this item into your pantry right away.
We really like the Vigo Beans and Rice Mixes, especially this one - We've been eating it for years: Cuban black beans and rice. Unfortunately, this is not available in the grocery stores where we spend the winter in the Rio Grande Valley. Other brands haven't lived up to my expectations. So you do what you have to do even though the price on Amazon is about 33% higher than what we pay back home you do what you have to do you have to do%.
I can't live without my black beans and rice after 30 years in Miami, but finding quality, authentic-tasting Cuban products now that I'm on the other coast is nearly impossible. When I don't have time to make something from scratch, the Vigo brand is the ideal solution. Others I tried were too salty and tasted more southern than Latin. The Vigo brand is delicious and easy to prepare.
The price was excellent, even better than what I was paying at the supermarket. I didn't think to look for them online until all of our local stores stopped carrying this Vigo flavor and our family was in desperate need of this delectable side dish!.
