Before cooking, this bean has a white interior. Turtle bean is the common name for this plant. Extremely popular in Latin America.
We collaborate with producers in Mexico, Argentina, and the United States of America (Michigan).
The information is essentially the same. Per gram, there are four calories. The difference between the two is the serving size: one is 50 grams and the other is 35 grams. A small difference, I believe, is due to rounding error; one nutrition fact panel comes out to 3. The difference between the two is that one has 4 calories per gram, while the other has 3. 428
The black beans we use have a two-year shelf life. The shelf life is one year.

Small organic farmers in Latin America grow these. I have a strong opinion of Mayorga coffee because I've been drinking it for years and find it to be consistently good. There are no broken pieces or other debris on the beans themselves. I eat a plant-based, whole-foods diet and take my beans seriously; these are the real deal. I'm hoping Mayorga will branch out into other bean varieties; if they do, I'll be first in line for Pinto or Red beans.
These black beans are among the best I've ever eaten. They taste great on their own or with a dash of Himalayan salt if properly prepared with an overnight soak.
These beans are of excellent quality and a good value for organic black beans (from countries I trust). I appreciate the help given to small farmers. I will definitely buy from you again.
We ordered these twice and received them on time and in good condition both times. The beans are free of debris and clean. These beans are a little smaller than the majority of the non-dairy varieties. We have previously purchased organic dried black beans, and the quality of the beans does not appear to be affected in any way. We are now only purchasing organic products. Because this item is non-returnable, you can rest assured that the item you purchase/receive has never been used by another customer.
We ordered more of these beans because they were so good.
I appreciate the opportunity to support a small farmer, and I believe the price is fair. There is now a rebate, which is great; it's a win-win situation. br>The beans are attractive, and the packaging is also appealing:.
All of the boxes are checked in this case. This isn't something you'd get from a factory farm in the United States. Organic. Non- gmo. Bulk (or, to put it another way, waste minimization). br>br>I'm overjoyed to have discovered these, and I'll be ordering more once I've used up my 10 pounds of beans.
I've used them before, but I find that most beans are very similar.
