The problem is that it has gotten more expensive and less available as it became more popular (perhaps because of the paleo thing). A pound of this was available, and it also appeared to be the best price. My only other problem with the product is its packaging, aside from its price and availability. There is some merit to the fact that it comes in a glass container without a BPA liner and that the plastic wrap provides some protection for shipping, but I'm not sure that this is enough to prevent leakage. My first bag arrived slightly leaking, and my second was badly leaking. There is no reason to believe that the lids were shipped loose or that they were not completely tightened. I was using just could not contain the liquid that ghee becomes when subjected to the heat we have had these past few weeks, so I had to use some heavy, slippery glass jars. Creating an inner seal without BPA would be great if they could figure out how to do it. They may be able to tape down the lid so that it does not fall off. Even though this is not Kobe beef, it is getting to be as expensive as it used to be.
It is hard for me to believe this is My first impression of this ghee is that it smells like butter, but is harder at room temperature and doesn't melt in your mouth like other ghee's I have purchased from Amazon before. It has a buttery flavor and a texture like The taste and feel of them are I do not feel like this product is organic at all. Its taste, feel and consistency are all uniform and does not seem natural Even in the microwave, it takes much longer to melt than the other butters. Anyone can't eat it, I don't see how. As far as I am concerned, I've tasted and examined this product several times, and I just can't bring myself to eat it since it is There was no point in spending money on it. If you have ghee that is not authentic or made in China, it might have been processed so much that the smell and color no longer resemble ghee. There is a hydrogenated taste to it.
Oh they have all kinds of organic and gourmet butter though - just no ghee. Those are also good to me Nevertheless, I was hoping to shop for ghee packaged rather than use the lazy route. Even though ghee is simple to make, there are times when I want to twist and spoon it instead. There's nothing I do not like about this ghee. Despite the low smoke point, the material has a decent burn This is what I use to sauté over medium heat A high heat is no problem for it. The full fat version is too fattening to use for popcorn as well, so i use this alternative for popcorn instead. There is no processing required, and it Keeping jar sets close to the stove is a good idea. This is a highly recommended product!.
I've tried different types of Ghee and keep coming back to them. These can be used to bake, roast, roast, bake, simmer, or simmer Please do not spread toaster toast or paleo bread or sweet potato baked in the oven. This is awful. This is my favorite seasoning for actual cooking purposes, not as a top dressing for A creamy taste is added to my food with this ingredient. This works for me because I suffer from casin intolerance, so I don't get any stomach irritation or itchiness from the ghee process which removes the enzymes and proteins Using coconut oil as a top dressing for my other foods is my way of enjoying them. With no problems, I leave this item on the shelf even when open. People put it in the fridge and it comes out just fine. Do what works best.
It is highly We have found the right type of butter for my husband because he cannot use just any oil or butter due to his salicylate sensitivity. He uses canola oil and we thank God that we In most cases, we use ghee instead of oil to cook apart from when we deep fry. Not only does it have a light flavor, but it is also healthier than any other variety of butter.
As many brands as I could get my hands on, I have tried them all. There are either too many grains or the solid is not solid enough. Those little jars are also great for herbs, I use them all the time.
