My favorite vegan omelette and quiche recipes use it all the time. To get the egg sulfur flavor, mix a good Indian black salt with this and sprinkle it on top. It's got a nutty taste so if you want the egg sulfur flavor, you'll need a good black salt.
In my opinion, pappadums are made with lentil flour, but I may be mistaken.

We did not have any problems and it was free of gluten, dairy, fat, and eggs. In addition to muffins, this flour could be used for breads. Using it to thicken gravy or sauce may also be worth a try.
Thank you for not making me go out and search for this. I totally appreciate that! I used it to make Shiro Wat and it shipped much faster than Amazon prime could deliver! 1 cup water + as much salt as you need.
It looked as if someone had cut the corner of the box with a scissor when it arrived inside the shipping bag. A spill occurred inside the package of flour. There was an average loss of 1/4 of the product. I do not use it because I am unsure if there was contamination with it. The trash is going into the dumpster. Spending money that could be better spent.
Several alternatives to white flour have been suggested to me, and Garbanzo Bean Flour was one of them. The first batch of Garbanzo Beans I tried didn't appeal to me because I don't particularly like Garbanzo Beans, but the taste was pleasant. It has a regular white flour consistency and it does not have an overpowering taste. My overall feeling is that I am glad I took a chance on this.

As an add-on item, free shipping was a bonus for me, so I bought it on Amazon. Add it to wheat flour when making batters for baking to give them more flavor. I really like it when added to the dough for a pizza crust. The Red Mill flour is the usual high quality - it is always fresh, it is uniform in milling, and it is easy to work with The bag of it doesn't need to be used very often, but I keep a bag on the shelf so I have it.
