I'm not sure what I'm saying. I use La Tourangelle walnut oil and am very happy with it. When used, it adds a light nutty flavor without being overpowering.
Our Roasted Walnut Oil has a two-year shelf life if it hasn't been opened since it was bottled. We recommend that you use the oil within 6 months of opening the tin. Please keep the walnut oil cool and dry.

This oil was purchased to protect my new bamboo cutting board, and it has proven to be very effective. For the first month, I coated my board every time I washed it, and it smelled delicious, like toasted walnuts. I let the board dry completely for a day or two before applying the oil and allowing it to soak in overnight. After a month, I started coating the board every time I washed it. I shouldn't have to coat it more than once a month at this point. Water or mold damage is not visible on the board. I would without a doubt, but if I had to do it over, I would choose a different.
My doctor recommended that I include healthy oils like walnut, avocado, krill oil, and small fish oils in my diet. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty walnut oil is and how it enhances the flavor of my food without overpowering it. Although I am not a huge fan of walnuts, this oil is fantastic! I didn't realize how healthy it was until my doctor informed me. This is a product that I will most likely order again. It's delicious served cold over salads or mixed into other dishes.
This oil is primarily used to season cast-iron skillets. It produces a non-stick film unlike any other oil.
It's not obtrusive; it's simply present. For these reasons, I've grown to prefer this brand, and I particularly enjoy using the nut oils for marinating meats and lubricating pans. It's fantastic.
This walnut oil turned out to be fantastic. It was perfect for making a flavorful, well-balanced pistachio paste, and it did not disappoint! Pistachio paste is a key ingredient in my pistachio financiers, which I make with French pastry, and this walnut oil is ideal for cooking and baking.
Many of the foods I prepare on a regular basis benefit from the addition of Roasted Walnut Oil. In salad dressings with a sweet component, I substitute it for olive oil. Salads with berries or citrus benefit from the addition of walnut oil vinaigrette. It adds a depth of flavor to banana bread that no neutral oil can match. I haven't tried replacing butter with it in brownies yet, but it's on my to-do list. br>br>La Tourangelle is a brand I've come to trust, and their flavored oils are well worth having on hand. I've found them to be of excellent quality, and I enjoy putting them to unusual uses.
I use it on my skin and mix it in with my body lotion, and I adore it. It doesn't cause me to break out, and my skin looks a lot better as a result. In addition, I enjoy it on my salad.
