The oil is dispensed in a concentrated stream rather than a diffuse spray by the spray nozzle. This appears to be a critical design flaw because it does not allow for rapid sprays for quick coverage with minimal oil; instead, the unit I received requires a longer hold on the dispenser to coat a pan, which results in more total oil in the pan. Due to the fact that this product is an aerosol, Amazon does not allow returns. If this turns out to be a unit defect rather than a design flaw, I would appreciate a replacement and would change my review.
I purchased this product because of its extremely high smoke point and in order to use it in my new air fryer. Everything went smoothly. No smoke. There wasn't much flavor, if any, but it didn't taste bad. I'm very happy. Delivery was very quick. I'm going to buy more. It is highly recommended.
This product is fantastic, and I am giving it FIVE stars. When ordering on Amazon, however, the value is not there. com. br>I had run out of this product and needed to order some quickly, so I ordered from Amazon and misread the number of cans. I was under the impression that the package included TWO cans. I usually purchase this at Costco, where I can get two cans for $7. br>So, if you don't mind paying a little more, go ahead and buy it. It's fantastic and very practical.
Costco used to sell it, but they no longer do. Avocado oil has a higher flash point than other oils and does not smoke when heated to high temperatures. It has no discernible flavor and is suitable for use in a variety of dishes and recipes. Cast iron cookware gets hotter than regular aluminum cookware, so it's a good idea to use it.
These spray oils are beneficial in my opinion. I started with the extra virgin olive oil ones and then moved on to this one, which is designed for high heat and has a smoking point of 500 degrees. The spray is fine; I use it as a quick mist on my Curtis Stone nonstick pans when I'm cooking an egg, for example. I'm sure I'm saving hundreds of calories per week just by doing that, and that's not the only reason I like this product, which is made in Mexico.
And, darn it, the price will rise. ) But, because of the healthy oils, the ease of use, and the length of time this product lasts, I will continue to buy it. Fortunately, it lasts a long time when sprayed on a salad and drizzled with your favorite vinegar-based dressing. mmmmm! When I use it to cook eggs, coat a pan, or any other place where oil is used, it's very light and has no discernible flavor. This is the kind of thing I use all the time. The mist-type spray provided by this can is ideal for lightness; you barely need any oil and still get excellent coverage.
The product itself is of good quality, but the spray mechanism is a disaster. It mists at times and shoots like a pinched hose at other times. It's better to just get a bottle and use a brush.

I agree with everyone else that the stream vs spray button is a pain to use. I'm not sure if it changed when the label design was updated, but I never had this issue when the label was orange. When you let go of the button while spraying, the oil streams for a fraction of a second, which is more oil than I want or need for pancakes. One star has been taken away. br>br>*****

br>****** br>I tried using the cooking spray with the letter "P," but it was too smokey. This is fantastic! Additionally, the pancakes have no additional flavor, which is ideal for my picky child. I would strongly suggest it.
