Questions & Answers

Are the pumpkin seeds sourced from Austrian pumpkins or, as is often the case, imported, pressed in Austria, and thus declared an Austrian product upon entry?

Yes, you are correct, Raven, because the seeds are sourced from Europe and Asia, then processed in Austria before being shipped to our California warehouse. As a result, it's labeled as an Austrian product bottled in the United States. Please let me know if you have any additional questions that we can answer!

It's perfect for my favorite deep hair conditioning treatment (see video)!   This was purchased in order for me to make my go-to recipe
5/5

I absolutely adore deep hair conditioning treatments. It is much softer on my hair than other oils (coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, and so on). I do add a few drops of peppermint oil to make it smell even better. It's substantial and of excellent quality - To see the color, viscosity, and other properties of this product, watch my video review. I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you're getting it to eat or drink. In addition, the price is reasonable. I would strongly suggest it.

My go- Grapeseed oil is a type of vegetable oil that is derived from grapeseed Grapeseed oil is one of my favorites for cooking, seasoning, and oil cleansing
5/5

Even from brands that claim all of their other oils are cold pressed, a lot of grapeseed oil is processed with hexane for some reason. The fact that this grapeseed oil is expeller pressed and hexane-free makes me very happy. Although grapeseed oil has a mild flavor, I can tell you that it tastes better than other brands. The fact that the container is BPA-free and opaque is an added bonus. For the quality and quantity, the price is incredible.

A slightly bitter roasted flavor
3/5

For comparison, I purchased two common types of pumpkin seed oil from Amazon: (Sold in a glass bottle) Pödör Premium Styrian oil; and "toasted" oil (in a steel can) from La Tourangelle. These oils were purchased primarily for the purpose of comparing their optical properties, rather than for use in cooking. Taste: The Pödör oil had a light nutty flavor that reminded me of peanut or cashew. The La Tourangelle oil had a nutty flavor as well, but it was accompanied by a strong roasted flavor that was slightly bitter, similar to burnt popcorn. Personally, I prefer the flavor of Pödör oil, but I'm not sure if the extra cost is justified. br>br>Color: The Pödör oil was dark green in color with little red/brown dichromatism when viewed under ordinary white light. The color of the oil from La Tourangelle was more olive-green, with a stronger reddish/brown dichromatism. br>br>Fluorescence (br>br>Fluorescence (br>br>Fluorescence ( Under a 400nm UV black light, both brands of oil fluoresced brightly red. The Pödör oil had a brighter, slightly pinker color to it. The oil from La Tourangelle had a slight orange tint to it. The color is red.

Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids abound in this excellent neutral oil
5/5

Increase "good" (high-density lipoproteins) cholesterol and "bad" (low-density lipoproteins) cholesterol Monounsaturated fats and cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins). Grapeseed oil contains a lot of polyunsaturated fats and vitamin E. It has a high smoke point, making it an excellent olive or vegetable oil substitute. It has a light, clean flavor (virtually flavorless), which allows other ingredients (like balsamic vinegar) to shine. br>br>La Tourangelle's Grapeseed oil is expeller-pressed. pressed and chemical free, and 100% natural It has a pale color and has no flavor. I've been using it on a daily basis for the past eight years for all of my cooking needs, from frying to sautéing to baking, and it's fantastic! It's a safer and healthier alternative to Canola oil, which has been genetically modified and chemically processed and is also used as bio diesel! br>br>Overall, it's a great neutral oil for all of your cooking needs, as well as being good for your health! My father employs me- law
4/5

Also, my husband. My father is a Law was reading about how pumpkin seeds can help people who have to get up in the middle of the night. He was becoming irritated by the fact that he was waking up 5 or 6 times each night. That had to get old fast. br>I reasoned that using oil would be easier and faster than chewing up a bunch of seeds all day every day. This has proven to be effective for him, with results appearing almost instantly. The only stipulation is that he must use it twice daily. The first time is in the early morning, and the second time is after dinner. As long as he does that, he only has to get up once or twice a day, and the results are almost instantaneous. br> br> br> br> br> br My husband began to have the same issue (guess it's hereditary), so I started him on this. Fortunately, it only happens once a day. He expressed his dissatisfaction the first time, but never again. He doesn't even need to be reminded to take it. And it continues to work almost instantly. Within a week, he'd recommended it to other people his age who might benefit from it. br>I hope this information is useful to you.

Aromatherapy is one of my favorites
5/5

This brand of Grapeseed oil is great for sensitive skin and I use it in my essential Oil Blends. All of my Aromatherapy products contain it. When baked, however, this oil is incredible, moist, and light.

It's great for use as a face oil and as a base for essential oils
5/5

This is the base oil for my essential oil face serum that I make at home. This is an excellent oil. I was concerned about the purity of the product and whether or not it would cause me to break out. According to what I've read, if an oil isn't good or contains impurities, it can cause you to break out. I didn't break out at all with this one. I can't believe it, but it has made my skin LESS oily! In fact, my family and friends have complimented me on how good my skin looks. My skin is acne-prone, oily, and sun-damaged. This oil is an excellent addition to my skincare routine.

Excellent "neutral" oil of excellent quality
5/5

I've been using La Tourangelle Grapeseed Oil for several years and am very pleased with it. It has a high smoke point and is "neutral" - meaning it has no odor. There are no distinct flavor notes added. It's fantastic for general sautéing (it browns chicken beautifully, for example). It's also what I use for baking in the oven. roasted vegetables (I toss potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, and whatever else I have on hand with a little oil and herbs, then load them onto a sheet pan and roast until tender). It's also cost effective - I'll keep buying this as long as it's still available on Amazon.
