There is nothing cold about the bottles. They come in cardboard and are not chilled. From my own experience as a customer of Barleans, I can say that the oil is clear golden yellow (not murky) and has a fresh taste (if you have ever worked with cooking oils, you are familiar with how rancid oil smells or tastes). For months, I have been buying Barleans Flax Oil through Amazon and using it regularly. Despite my opinions about the quality and freshness of this product, it is also very important to know that the bottle must filter out light (hence the dark brown color) to keep the oil fresh. There is also COLD Barleans Flax Oil at some health food stores, although I have never purchased it at a health food store, so I cannot recommend any specific health food stores offering it in

Having never been to the warehouse, I have no idea what it is like. The product is not refrigerated when it arrives. As soon as I open it, I put it in the fridge.
According to the bottle, the best time for consumption was between Dec 28, 2015, and Jan 16, 2016, so I received my bottle before that. It isn't going to expire for more than 2 weeks. A 6-month earlier, in July of 2015, it had already been pressed. It was my expectation to receive a product that has a more usable lifespan.

You can hold the oriface upside down and it does not drip. As soon as it squashes, it is an explosive explosion. Take a look at the Flavor and freshness are a little above average. The low price and easy to use nozzle makes this flax seed oil a good choice. Cast iron gets a nice, deep brown glaze when it is seasoned this way.

I can taste and see that this is good quality flax, since it tastes like freshly ground flax. I'm also in love with the lid/squeeze top again. There's just something so intelligent and refreshing about it.
