This was purchased to make milk, but it is far too expensive for that purpose. At least 1 1/2 cups of powder are required for a half gallon. In addition, a bag only yields about three servings. The product is simple to combine and would work well as a creamer. Purchase the three-pack to save money.

This stuff is amazing, and I love that it's free of sulfites and other potentially harmful ingredients (while sulfites may not be harmful to some people, they are to me). I make my own muesli with it. That way, all I have to do is add cold water to make a creamy, delicious cereal bowl. There is no need for milk. This was an excellent solution for me because I am lactose intolerant. I haven't missed milk in a very long time. Muesli is also a great camping/backpacking food because it doesn't require milk. I haven't tried many different brands of coconut milk powder, but the ones I have tried either contained sulfites or tasted terrible. This one has given me a lot of pleasure.

Because I can't find unsweetened coconut milk in my local stores, I bought this to make it myself. It will not dissolve in cold water, unfortunately. I tried stirring and even whisking, but all I got was a thin layer of coconut water with clumps of powder on top. As if this substance is incapable of absorbing moisture. I threw it in my morning smoothie and blended it for a long time until it wasn't gritty anymore. The flavor is good, but the mix quality is disappointing. br>br>I guess I'll use it up in smoothies and switch to almond milk until my local stores restock coconut milk. Given the times, I was hoping to have this on hand as a backup in my pantry. I'm thinking about leaving two of the three bags in there just in case there are any more store shortages. It's better to have something than none at all. br>br>In general, I don't recommend this because it can't be mixed with cold water. Perhaps it's more effective in hot beverages?.

I don't have to worry about it going bad like an opened can, and cans are often badly separated into weak fluid and hard chunks, with a lot of oil that makes my tea taste bad. I don't mind if there are a few small clumps of powder here and there; It's almost as if it's a gift. This brand appeals to me because it is organic and contains the fewest additives. Unlike most brands, they specify which additives and how much of each are used. I'd rather have none, but that's a difficult thing to come by. I can live with a 3 reduction in clumping factor. However, it still clumps. The additives are undetectable to me. They aren't meant to be used as sweeteners or flavor enhancers. Thank goodness for that! I don't understand why companies flavor natural foods with flavoring! br>br>I also like that they don't price gouge you like some other brands do when they appeal to people who will throw money out the window for the latest fad. br>br>The three-pack saves you money. It lasts a long time when stored properly.
