I was able to read what you said. It looks like dirt, but when exposed to moisture, it hydrates. I used it to make candy and it turned out great, but because it's so dry, I couldn't use it to decorate cookies or candy.

The only ingredient is coconut, which is naturally gluten-free. Wheat contains gluten, so eat your gluten-free coconut with gusto.

I like this product, but I'm not fond of the little bugs; I'm sure they're harmless, but no one wants dead bugs - or, for that matter, live ones - in what they eat Worse, when I complained after four days, I received no response. Following a 20-minute hold, I was cut off. This is how you KILL a BRILLIANT business. Shame on you!.
- The product arrived in the same condition as shown in the Amazon photos
The outer packaging consisted of a sturdy cardboard box with four ziplock bags of shredded coconut meat (different from the images on Amazon, but it doesn't really matter). br>br>Shredded coconut meat: Each ziplock bag felt sturdy, but the single zipper felt flimsy (though I haven't managed to tear it from the bag yet, which is great news). br>br>
- The way you look The meat pieces are white in color, with no visible discoloration or abnormalities. br>- Smell: a light coconut scent (which is very pleasant)br>- Taste: Light coconut flavor with a hint of sweetness (delicious flavor)br>br>Overall, a fantastic product (high in healthy fats and dietary fiber while also being low in net carbs) that I enjoy eating on its own or in a variety of ways (smoothies, salads, baked goods, energy balls, etc. ).
Bob's coconut butter has been a staple in my kitchen for years. Shredded coconut is usually liquefied by putting it in a food processor on high for about 15 minutes. Refrigerate and cut into squares after pouring into a shallow container. There was clearly something wrong with this coconut order. It took 40 minutes in a food processor to liquefy, and I even tried smoothing it out with some coconut oil. I tried both bags and got the same result. I threw out the entire batch. I'm not sure if it was just because it was old, but I wouldn't buy this brand again.
I use a lot of Bob's Red Mill products and am generally pleased with them. I recently ran out of shredded coconut and needed to replenish my supply, so I went with this recipe. br>br>I use coconut in my cooking and baking on a regular basis, as well as in my oatmeal. The flavor is exactly what you'd expect (excellent), and the texture is excellent. The shreds still have a bit of "pop" or crunch to them, which I prefer over the low-quality store-brand stuff, which I find to be too soft. br>br>In terms of this product being organic, conventional coconut does not typically contain pesticide residue, so if you want to save some money, feel free to use your discretion. I thought the price was reasonable, and I've had better results with organic, so why not? br>br>There is no added sugar, no starch coating, and no other ingredients. Simply put, a bag of good shredded coconut.
There might be some uses for it, but it's just awful; I can't believe I did it again, and even worse, I didn't return it. So they got lucky this time, for the last time, and I can't give them anything less than a one-star rating.
It's a good product, and I bought it because it's sugar-free. It's a very finely shredded material. It's great for sprinkling on top of things and rolling them in, but it wouldn't work for granola or as a decorative item.
Perfect!. These are packaged in individual resealable bags to keep them fresh. This shredded coconut flavor is unsweetened and delicious. It's a favorite of mine in low-carb nut bars and sugar-free dark chocolate. Mmmmmm.
Baked goods, yogurt, and even smoothies benefit from it. Some people may be put off by the size (the flakes are very small), but I think it's ideal for adding filler to protein snacks. Buying it in a pack instead of individually saves you a lot of money.
