It has 5mg of sodium per serving (3 tbsp.) according to the label.
I'm guessing it's drier than that. "Organic dried coconut," according to the product's description.

I have a hard time finding organic coconut, especially UNSWEETENED coconut, in the stores in the small rural towns where I live. As a result, I'm grateful that I can always count on Amazon. I'm on a Ketogenic diet, and even though this coconut is unsweetened, it has a natural sweetness that enhances the flavor of whatever I use it in.
Recipes that call for shredded coconut are out of the question. Very let down.
I expected it to taste similar to the other unsweetened foods I've been eating. (Not great) This coconut, on the other hand, was surprisingly delicious! These were used to make homemade almond joy bars, which were delicious.
This is a brand that I really like. I had intended to purchase the large shreds and was chastising myself for not reading the labels more carefully. The large shreds make a delicious snack when toasted in coconut oil. Paleo-friendly, and far superior to any other snack. I toast an entire bag and then freeze it in a large plastic bag. I share it with others who are attempting to eat "whole foods," and I've developed my own little fan club among my friends and family. I'm going to do it again. I'll check the shred size before placing my order.
The shreds are a little shorter than normal coconut shreds, so if you're looking for longer shreds, this may not be the best option.
These are dry, mildly sweet flakes, as stated above. I only use these for sprinkling on things like hot oatmeal or in overnight oats after rehydrating them a little. In these instances, a little goes a long way. It has a pleasant flavor.
Sweetened shredded coconut is available in all supermarkets and Mart stores. I needed unsweetened coconut because I am a type 2 diabetic. He's the ideal candidate for the job!.
I love putting these in my cookies or ice cream because they're exactly what I wanted. The price, on the other hand, could have been a little lower; in-store prices are significantly lower than those found online.
