Pascha Bulk Organic Bitter Sweet, 70% Cacao Chocolate Chips, 10 Pound

I did extensive blind taste tests on friends before ordering the large economy 10 pounder. Pascha, Guittard, and others are among them. It's a tie, with some people leaning toward this and others leaning towards the other. Every morning, I mix some into my oatmeal or yogurt. I use it in my cooking. I've melted it down and used it in my homemade berry jams. I always look forward to trying it, and with the 10 pound bag, I'll be able to enjoy it for months.

I looked for a different source and came across this Pasha chocolate. It is smooth, delicious and properly bitter (as true 100% unsweetened chocolate should be). Also, because it contains the right amount of cocoa butter, it melts in your mouth rather than being waxy or too hard and solid. I haven't tried their milk of sweetened chocolates yet, but Pasha 100% unsweetened chocolate is the real deal. Oh, and I placed my order in the middle of July, too. After the disaster with the other supplier, I didn't have much of a choice. And the chocolate arrived 100% unmelted in an insulated carton with a cooler pack on the inside. Chips were still separate and non-melted in an insulated carton with a cooler pack inside tethered together.

I absolutely adore them! We've had our GIANT (more than a cubic foot) 10lb box of these chips for a few weeks and have been eating them almost every day. We absolutely adore them! No sugar. Chocolate that is pure and delicious. We mostly use them in smoothies that we sweeten with stevia, fruit, or the high-fructose corn syrup. We use a high-grade protein powder. They don't have any more grit than the fruits, vegetables, spinach, or regular chocolate chip bits in icy smoothies. We're so glad we spent $107 on this great "stock" item for our extra refrigerator's shelf. It goes well with any fruit smoothie flavor. Chocolate in the flavors of cherry, orange, coffee, and mint. My- We live in Arizona, so these arrived on an unusually warm early morning. a day in the spring I was concerned that I would melt because the box was warm and soft. After two days in the fridge, there were only a few chips stuck together at the corners when I took it out. In the first smoothing, I used them all up. It was well worth it!.

Thank you for your excellent customer service, Pascha! 2nd box order, this time MINI CHIPS, which are EXACTLY what I needed for my VEGAN chocolate muffins. To begin with, Customer Service is outstanding. The chips arrived fresh and well-protected, but I was concerned about a bitter aftertaste, so we contacted Pascha via email. We also gave some to a friend to try; he creates delectable chocolate confections and is a true artist. Pascha's email was detailed and thoughtful. It discussed the various packaging styles, air exposure, and the amount of time that had passed between my old chips and the new chips that had just arrived in the mail. Our friend confirmed this, stating that the chips "tasted as expected" and asking if he could purchase a few pounds. I use these chips in vegan chocolate chip and chocolate cookie recipes; the melt and flavor of the chips are essential, and I am grateful that Pascha produces and sells them.

It melts beautifully and has a flavor that is superior to other organic "high quality" 100% chocolate liquor/paste (for chocolate making). The product arrived in a large box with a foam container containing a gel pack (which was not cold by the time it arrived in the heat of Florida in September), located on top of the product box, which contained a large shrink wrapped bag containing the chips, which were in perfect condition. I was pleasantly surprised, and I would buy it again and recommend it at any time of the year. Also, because it's in bulk, this is the best price I've found so far. It was a good investment!.

It appeals to me because it is organic and comes from Latin America, where there is less child exploitation associated with cacao cultivation than in Africa. The flavor is pleasant, but not my favorite; I enjoy dark chocolate, but some cacao varieties benefit from a little more sugar—perhaps this is one of them. I'm still tinkering with it, adding cacao butter and stevia to see if I can make a lower-calorie version. Chocolates made with sugar that are also enjoyed by children.

These chips are my favorite kind. They are currently out of stock! They should bring them back as soon as possible, in my opinion. I combine these with a variety of other chocolates and/or extra cocoa butter to make chocolate candies with varying levels of sweetness and textures. These are silky smooth and of excellent quality.
