These were one of my favorites as a kid. However, when the packaging was changed, they had to change the formulation. They've become sickeningly sweet and have lost their white chocolate flavor. I purchased several bags because they are frequently out of stock, but I regret wasting my money. Look for a better option, as these are simply no longer useful in the long run! PHOTOS HAVE BEEN ADDED: The ingredients in the new bag are shown in photo one, while those in the older bag are shown in photo two - Take note of the differences in the ingredients (for example, there is no cream).
They have an overpowering sweetness to them. And for me, that's the only flavor that stands out. We experimented with them in a few different ways before throwing the bag away. We can't use them because they aren't compatible with our needs. br>br>Did I say they're delicious?.
I'm not a big fan of "white" chocolate, but these Au Lait Chips have such a rich flavor and creamy texture with just the right amount of sweetness that I bought more for myself and gave them as gifts. Every penny and effort you put into your kitchen work will be well spent. I would strongly suggest it. If you haven't tried these chips yet, start with one bag and you'll be hooked.
" It was for a Cranberry, White Chocolate, and Macadamia Cookie recipe. The cookies came out beautifully and were extremely tasty. In fact, I placed an order with the Gorilla Food Co. for raw macadamia nuts. by way of Amazon Both of these products are fantastic.
They bake well, go well in trail mixes, melt well for drizzling on cookies or pastries, and taste great. For whatever purpose you plan to use them, I strongly advise you to do so.
These chips were exactly what I had hoped for from Guittard, and they were fantastic with my cookies. br>When I make lemon drop cookies, I dip them in this chocolate and they are delicious!.
This chocolate appeals to me because it is gluten-free and of high quality. It works well for making peppermint bark, which is what I usually do with it. The layers of cheaper chocolates frequently separate, but not in this case. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's well worth it for me!.
I'm not a big fan of carbs, but a handful of these chips is just the thing when I'm craving something sweet.
